This place was utterly disgusting. It was late and we stopped in route to Keystone. Receptionist failed to mention the room she was placing our family in is one used for "recreational smoking" as it smelled heavily of skunk. No toilet paper, holes in the walls, furniture falling apart. No refund policy.

My husband and I were traveling from Arkansas to Vernal, Utah. We drove until we got tired & searched for cheap motels. 1st Inn Gold was under $50 and provided a clean bed in a quiet area. The place is older with dated furnishings, but the room is large with a large bathroom and clean, comfortable bedding. The staff was...

I made rhe mistake of staying there earlier this week. I stayed in a room that smelled like insecticide. The floors and carpet were filthy. The deadbolt on the entry door was non functional and there was a cable screwed to the wall that you could wrap around the door knob. The bath mat was filthy. I would be in...

Beware!!! This is, by far, the worst place we have ever stayed in!! The board of health should close it down!! Flies were everywhere. The office is a disgrace. We wouldn't even take a shower! We can't even think of one positive thing to say!!!!

I stopped here for the night with my 2 dogs on a cross country move, and it is the seediest motel I've ever seen (and I'm from L.A.). The vagrants that were eyeing me as I pulled in reminded me of prison movies when hardened convicts on the yard check out the fresh meat as they're brought in. I think...

the first weird thing was the young man at the desk in the office. He was bagging the town out and saying how much he hated living here. We were given our room key and no clue as to where the room was so we headed in the general direction we thought it was, the building is two storey with...

This is an old, run down motel. You need to put this under the hotel/motel tab. The carpet was old, dirty, and smelled so bad that I was not able to stay in the room overnight. The manager is wonderful. She refunded our money immediately and with great courtesy.

Although this was far from my ideal hotel experience, I am very appreciative that 1st Inn Gold was open at 2 something a.m. when I was exhausted from driving for hours and just needed a bed. The guy at the desk was really nice, and got me into a room right away. I probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel if...
