This B&B in historic Leadville is full of charm. Beautifully furnished super clean and restored home is the perfect B&B. The owner is super friendly and she restored the home beautifully. We will absolutely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed here, so we obviously like it enough to come back. The Owner was not around this time, so we only had the pleasure of meeting Maria, who works for Donna. However, it's not totally my style. It's very clean. Hear me on that one. No issues there. I don't love the plastic... More

My wife and I stayed at the charming McGinnis Inn a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Donna served up a wonderful breakfast--more than we could eat. We highly recommend it. Easy walking distance from Leadville points of interest.

Located in a nice house a couple of streets off the main road, McGinnis Cottage was an enjoyable stay. We were nicely welcomed by Donna despite having no reservations and chose the big room on the top floor. The room had nice views of the mountains to the west. There is a big variety of DVDs available to watch and... More

Very nice bed and breakfast. Donna very helpful. Suggested a great place for dinner. Room nice, but a king is not two twins pushed together. That is my only complaint. My husband is 6'6 and his feet hung over the bed all night. But, the room had a refrigerator, wine glasses and an opener. Very clean. Breakfast was fabulous. Such... More

My boyfriend and I decided to try something new in Leadville and visit the McGinnis Inn. Donna was more than accommodating and made sure that our stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. She even upgraded our room for free! The house was beautiful and charming and the food was wonderful! We will definitely be coming back on our next... More

I can't think of any real negatives about the place. My wife and I had the Queen's Loft for 2 nights and it was amazing. The loft is the entire 3rd floor of the house and very comfortable .... unless you are a tall person. I stand 6 feet tall and the shower/ bathroom was a little of a challenge... More

My family stayed at McGinnis Cottage B&B for MLK Day 2015. We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean yet had a warm and lived-in feeling. There were family photos on the walls and interesting antique pieces from all over the world. Our host Donna is incredibly friendly and enjoys chatting with her guests. The breakfast was delicious... I planned a trip for my sister and me to visited Leadville for R&R, Aspen viewing and site seeing. I found this charming B&B on the internet which had a room with twin beds (unheard of in all the B&B’s I have stayed in). Donna, the owner and hostess, was extremely friendly & gracious from my first conversation with her... More

My wife and I loved this place. The B&B is really beautiful, clean, very well maintained and spotless. A perfect oasis to rest after a busy day hiking and being on the road. The following morning Donna served a sumptuous and delicious breakfast. I never considered the variety of toppings one could have with oatmeal! It was delicious and followed... More
