Wild eyed residents. Advertised $55 a night, charged $99. Horrific beds. I've stayed in a lot of older, budget priced rooms, for over 60 years, this was second worst room/bed quality in all my years of travel. The human environment was the worst, by far, that I've ever encountered. Appears to be housing drug using patrons, living on the second...

This place has such potential, but it doesn't quite hit the mark. As a traveler who has stayed in many youth hostels, I am very open to the spirit of hosteling--sharing a kitchen area, bathrooms, etc. Like another reviewer stated, "I really wanted to like this place. I don't mind a little shabbiness in return for some character," but this...

Be carefull when you book this hotel , it shows something when you rea gonna book it but when you get there , there is no parking space , the bathroom is to share , I expected more for the money I paid , the only good thing is the location , but other than that be careful.

The chairs in the Living rooms had signs on them please do not sit, There was not chair in the rooms to sit in. The room had a strong Lysol pine-sol like industrial smell as strong as a Janitor's closet. I had politely asked that my Driver's License be returned after a few minutes of time had passed as I...

My bed was historic, as in should have been thrown out a decade ago. It caved in at the center; anyone trying to lie on the edge would tumble into the middle. Rest of the hotel was not much better. Service was weird. Place felt sad overall. I think it's mostly a residential hotel? Maybe? I don't know. I really...

Loved it. Very authentic with period furnishings and decor. Shared bathroom however I thought it excellent value and so much more interesting than a cookie-cutter motel. Perfect and friendly enough, would definitely stay again

Stayed here during the Grand Junction Off Road mountain bike race! Price was very reasonable! Rooms a bit dated but the name says historic so what the heck! I slept well and in the end that's what counts and being downtown within walking distance of the event was what I wanted and this was right there!

Traveling for holidays and decide to stop over and spend a few nights in Grand Junction before heading to Vegas. Saw this hotel on a cannabis friendly lodging site and decided to give it a try. Quite affordable and accommodating, the communal kitchen was an added bonus to saving on eating out daily. The staff was awesome in knowing what...

This vintage hotel is also a hostel to budget or lone travelers. Check in was quick at 9pm. We booked a room with two beds and our own bathroom as we did not want to share a community bathroom. Heater kept turning off and on all night despite our efforts to set it so it would stay on all night....

Take this review with a grain of salt because I only spent a few hours here and never got a room. I arrived very late at night because of a train delay. I had a reservation at this place, and called ahead to let the manager (?) know I would be arriving at 2 or 3 am. He said fine,...
