We stayed here for 3 nights in a second floor room. The room was fine although had no storage space for clothes or coffee maker. The bathroom looked like it had been recently updated. All the soaps were liquid in dispensers. The room was not serviced unless requested. The staff were fine and the breakfast adequate. Outside on the front balcony we’re a couple of chairs and table to sit out on and relax. If you were located near the road it could be a problem. It was an ok place but we would probably look elsewhere next time.
Location next to the gondola and the mountain amusement park is great. Also it is near Iron Mountain —very nice. Close to the two rivers park and trail is a plus. Otherwise, we would choose someplace else. We stayed two nights. No housekeeping on the second day. Breakfast is not good. The room needs an update. But the pool area looks very fun for kids.
Place is very dirty and thoroughly wore out. LOUD!. We stayed in the room <1 minute, laughed, and left. The lady at the desk was nice and told us she completely understood. 150ish per night to feel like your sleeping under an overpass. No thanks. I wouldn't of stayed for 50/night truthfully.
let me just say this place is worth every penny. its far from denver and away from the traffic/noise of big city. were from California and this was great to just get away and relax. while we were there we were given direction of a local hike to hang lake which was a good hike with a really nice reward. well be back! this is the perfect place to soak in the warmth during the single digit temps outside.
Great place to stay especially with kids! The pool area is large and has a slide, and the gondola is right next door to get to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. We booked five rooms for a family stay and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was cold foods only, but the hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants. We will stay there again!
Our grandson 5 years old had such an amazing time and he usually won’t swim Hot tub great for us old timers Friendly, helpful staff Triple thumbs up for Curtis who clearly goes the extra mile Great location (next to gondola)
Stayed one night with wife and child. We reached in the afternoon and immediately took the cable car up to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The cable car is just right next to the hotel. Once we finished with the adventure park, we came back down to check in. We then went to the huge indoor swimming pool on the ground floor, where my 5 year old had an amazing time playing with the slides, basketball and hot tub. The hotel also provided additional towels if you are heading to the pool. Overall the stay was comfortable and a great base to explore glenwood springs. If you are staying at the hotel, you get a discount code to buy the tickets to the adventure park as well as the iron mountain springs. That next morning we went to the iron mountain springs and that was an amazing experience. Overall i would recommend this hotel as it is convenient and we really liked the indoor pool. Hotel Room: 4 Stars (Standard room with a bath tub) Room View: 4 Stars (Nice view of the mountains) Service of Staff: 4 Stars (Easy check in) Lounges/Restaurants: NA Room Service: NA Location: 4 Stars (Near the cable car and iron mountain springs)…
This hotel was great! The room was very large. The pool was adorable especially if you have kids. Lots of fun things there to play on. I felt that they were being safe with Covid procedures. They did not have a great selection of hot items for breakfast but there was enough. While we were there the hot tub was not working but when you are in Glenwood Springs, it doesn't really matter. We were able to just WALK over to the tram that goes up to Glenwood Springs Adventure Park (super fun). This was our first trip to Glenwood Springs and we loved everything there!
We only had one night in this hotel but we were pleased with the accommodations. The room appeared clean and it was comfortable and quiet. The deadbolt on my door didn't work unfortunately, but thankfully the chain did. Breakfast wasn't much, but it was better than nothing considering the circumstances. I would stay here again if I am every back in this area. Although we didn't use it, the pool area is phenomenal! Families with kids will love it.
We booked 3 rooms for our family stay and everything was perfect. We had to make a last minute adjustment to our reservation and it was handled with a smile - and we were asking for a big accommodation. I honestly was shocked they were so accommodating for our family! The pool area is great - the hot tub is huge and hot, and our kids used the water slide about 800 times. Breakfast was take-away only but still had options like cereal, bananas, muffins, and coffee. We also went to the hot springs and the hotel allowed us to check out their pool towels for free (saved us $60 in towel rentals from the hot springs facility). Absolutely no complaints whatsoever - everything was perfect!
