We went for a wedding where the entire property was rented out. Staff was all very helpful and really went the extra mile to help everyone get acclimated and ensure comfort. Food was excellent. You stay in individual cabins which can vary in number of rooms - we stayed in one that had 3 bedrooms (2 rooms and a loft)....

If you dont like crowds, like to be pampered by two great Chefs, while staying in a beautiful place, with one of the best Staff you can find anywhere, this, is the place for you. A boutique hotel disguised as a rustic destination, everything here will exceed your expectations over and over until you leave. A place to fall in...

Stayed in the Wheel House, which was awesome! Great place and great staff. Food was a little underwhelming at times but pretty good considering they are out in the country, miles from a supply chain. Our first day was awesome but then the children arrived. The hot springs turned into a kiddy pool and was effin' mayhem. It was a...

Dear PiedmontMan, Thank you for sharing your kind and candid comments regarding your stay at Dunton Hot Springs. We are so pleased you enjoyed the town and the staff. I am so sorry to hear about the effects the children had on your stay as well as the food seeming a bit underwhelming. We have taken both comments to heart...

So seldom do you go to a resort that is not only remarkable but personal and intimate at the same time. The specialness of Dunton is in it's authentic soul and wonderfully attentive, caring and thoughtful staff. Patrick the concierge, manager, impresario and heart of our experience, greeted each one of us (Me and my 3 Adult children) by name...

One of the finest places we've stayed, and we've been to over 100 countries :) Very unique opportunity to stay in a luxuriously overhauled silver mining ghost town. The accommodations vary in price, size, location and amenities, and if you go on the website, you can get a great feel for each one and then reserve the exact "lodge" you...

We own a ranch in Telluride, so we went to Dunton for the hot springs and dinner. Both were excellent. Hot springs are a good temperature and big enough for a group, then drinks are served as people gather together around 6:30 pm in the beautiful old main lodge for a happy hour. Maybe we were lucky, but we enjoyed...

This place is different to anywhere we have ever visited before. We were not entirely convinced that we would find it all to our liking, especially the communal eating arrangement. But thanks to the company of very gracious fellow guests and the delightful and responsive staff we really enjoyed the whole experience. Congratulations especially to the chef and his team,...

My wife , the dog & I were lucky enough to spend a couple nights at this top notch rustic haven as our wind down after camping five spectacular nights in SW Colorado. The cabin was lovely, the staff was spectacular in attending to our needs. Especially Andrew, John & Norbert the approachable GM. The small but private hot springs...

We stayed here in 2009 as a special treat for my boyfriends 50th birthday and to complete his Wild West Odyssey as apparently the saloon in this resort is reputed to have hosted Butch Cassidy back in the day. It is a luxury resort but with a twist as it looks like an old mining town. Each cabin is unique...

It is hard to do Dunton Hot Springs justice in a written review! This was a one of a kind vacation not like many other typical vacations. It is a quaint, quiet, peaceful, rejuvenating experience. We stayed in the Well House which had the on demand hot spring in it. We thoroughly enjoyed having that feature! The cabins are very...
