My boyfriend and I stayed in the well house cabin the first week of January we enjoyed the cabins high ceilings, beautiful view and private indoor hot spring. We loved snow shoeing on pristine snow. They have particularly great snow shoeing equipment. A magical experience and it wasn't too cold. We sat around the campfire with drinks in the evening...

So I had dreamed of visiting here for years, I invited some family and we rented Potter House. This could have been part of my problem. The house is a little walk from the town, a problem when you have a young child, when I booked I was told it was a short walk. The house also has a lot...

I had seen pictures and heard from my brother how special this place really was. When we drove and everything was blanketed with white snow I was blown away. I have traveled all over and very few places visually blow you away immediately, Dunton is that place. We stayed in Christie's Tent and loved it's location next to the Library...

The setting and authenticity of Dunton is incredible and hard to beat. Dunton had been on my bucket list for some time so my expectations were very high. I spent a lot of time speaking with reservations before booking about the activities, hiking and food options since I was traveling with 3 children. I was led to believe that accommodating...

We had a nice 4 night stay over the New Years holiday. Our family or four stayed in a roomy and comfortable two-room cabin. The resort is set in a snowy, picturesque property with mountain tops in the distance and an icy stream running along the entrance. We enjoyed the easy availability of snowshoeing, short hikes and an arranged activity...

We went for a wedding where the entire property was rented out. Staff was all very helpful and really went the extra mile to help everyone get acclimated and ensure comfort. Food was excellent. You stay in individual cabins which can vary in number of rooms - we stayed in one that had 3 bedrooms (2 rooms and a loft)....

If you dont like crowds, like to be pampered by two great Chefs, while staying in a beautiful place, with one of the best Staff you can find anywhere, this, is the place for you. A boutique hotel disguised as a rustic destination, everything here will exceed your expectations over and over until you leave. A place to fall in...

Stayed in the Wheel House, which was awesome! Great place and great staff. Food was a little underwhelming at times but pretty good considering they are out in the country, miles from a supply chain. Our first day was awesome but then the children arrived. The hot springs turned into a kiddy pool and was effin' mayhem. It was a...

Dear PiedmontMan, Thank you for sharing your kind and candid comments regarding your stay at Dunton Hot Springs. We are so pleased you enjoyed the town and the staff. So seldom do you go to a resort that is not only remarkable but personal and intimate at the same time. The specialness of Dunton is in it's authentic soul and wonderfully attentive, caring and thoughtful staff. One of the finest places we've stayed, and we've been to over 100 countries :) Very unique opportunity to stay in a luxuriously overhauled silver mining ghost town. The accommodations vary in price, size, location and amenities, and if you go on the website, you can get a great feel for each one and then reserve the exact "lodge" you...
