My husband and I have been to Dunton Hot Springs 2 times prior to this past visit and have always had a spectacular time so this year we decided to spend Christmas at Dunton with our 3 children - ages 13, 17 and 18. This was the first year Dunton has been open during the holidays so we were quick...

Rustic chic done right with amazing hospitality and food, but a dog policy that needs changed. We stayed three nights in Dunton in January and the decorations, thoughtful service, food and location were amazing! It is a picture perfect location with staff who know exactly how to take care of every need of the guests without being in the way....

I'd say one of the more unique places we have been to. Here are some highlights: Staff- the staff is amazing. The hotel manager drove 2-3 hours to the airport to pick up my delayed bags.....oh, and this was on Christmas Day!!! The rest of the staff really seems to enjoy their job and they want to get to know...

My husband and I went there on our 20th anniversary and it remains one of our favorite destinations ever. Nestled in a gorgeous valley and right on the Dolores River (fly fishermen take note!), Dunton Hot Springs is a unique place to stay. It is rustic and very simple - the luxury items are the service, pristine and very private...

This was a repeat trip to Dunton Hot Springs, which is still a magical place to visit! We wanted to experience Dunton with snow and visited in November last year, overlapping the Thanksgiving dinner. We still enjoyed: the hot springs, the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the shared great room for drinks, meals & games and the amazing scenery/setting. In the snow,...

This is one of the very first times I have been surprised by accommodations, facilities, and amenities. This place is sorely UNDER marketed, it is complete and absolute paradise. We were here 3 nights and every day/night was equally enjoyable. The food is amazing and different everyday. All the food is from local markets and is served by some of...

Recently we celebrated my 70th BD with our grown children and grandchildren at Dunton Hot Springs, a place we had all been wanting to visit for years. Photos online could hardly prepare us for such a magical and thoroughly enjoyable experience. From the luxuriously comfy and cozy cabins, to the exquisite bathhouse and outdoor hot springs, to the delightful dining...

Where do I begin? How about stepping back a hundred years to the old west, to the town that Butch Cassidy escaped to after robbing the bank in Telluride. It is steeped in history and charm, you feel like a pioneer, but a pampered and utterly spoiled one. Each and every member of staff are not only cheery but go...

This turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to the Southwest and boy was I surprised about that for our family of 4 with two older teens. It was a long drive to get there from Denver, and we had a great time stopping along the way on the Million Dollar Highway, but the last couple...

Having wished to visit Dunton Hot Springs for quite a few years, I was thrilled to book "a soak & a meal" for myself & a friend. Having been past Dunton Hot Springs a few times on outings in the mountains (& also after checking out their web-site). I was sure that Dunton Hot Springs must have marvelous food, great...

Dear Lyn729, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience. While we are happy to hear that you enjoyed parts of your visit, we would like to apologize that your overall Lunch & Soak day visit did not meet your expectations for the experience. I must admit, I was very surprised to hear the account...
