My wife and I stayed here one night in June 2016 on a road trip around the country. We choose this place based on the fact that they take pets and we travel with our dog. Check in and out was great as they are very pleasant and will answer any questions you have. Our room was in good shape...

Really enjoyed the stay at the Old Town Inn. Staff was super great, location was great and breakfast was good for the small space. Coffee was excellent. Hung out on the back patio while kids played across the street in the park. Walked to dinner, soccer fields, lunch, ect. Rooms are smaller and with a king bed not a lot...

The only hotel right in town, I think. All others are on the ski mountain. The staff makes you feel right at home, almost as if you were staying at a friend's house. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable room at a comfortable price. Close to the bus stop for the ski hill.

Thanks! Your comment about "staying at a friend's house" is much appreciated. It lets us know we're achieving the feel we're going for.

The staff here is great, very sweet and helpful. The free breakfast in the morning is a highlight - great local coffee and plenty of variety. The ambience is cozy and welcoming. I appreciated the property's focus on recycling (even in each room). It's nice to have great wifi, a printer on the property, and great coffee and breakfast in...

Stayed here 2 nights during the 2015 Ride the Rockies bike ride. High elevation meant that we had issues sleeping as we were coming from Hawaii. Thankfully the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and we were able to get in some good quiet time. The walls are thin, but as most of the folks in the hotel were...

Pet friendly with free townie bikes (even a tandem). Breakfast was loaded with options besides pastries/bread. This place even has in room receptacles for recycling! Outdoor hot tub and outdoor seating areas allow time to relax and enjoy CB.

The room was so small, very old, dirty carpet, bad plumbing, the breakfast was lots of bread and rolls, no place to sit overall, not a good experience..I wish the view was better, we looked at shopping center, the room was musty as well

Second time staying here. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgable of the area and will help you find anything you are looking for. The bedding is very comfortable after a day of hiking, biking, or rock climbing. The hot tub is clean and feels awesome after a day of outdoors.

We had driven all day and got into Crested Butte about 3 hours behind our projected hour. The downtown area was soaked with rain ... And we pulled up to Old Twn Inn. The exterior was pretty rough and looking weathered and run down. As I entered the lobby the owner happened to be there. What a gracious man. One...

If you have a pet, this is the place to stay. Room price is reasonable compared to other CB prices. You pay a little extra for your pet, but less than what other places charge. The place is very dated and worn , especially the carpet, but what can you expect from a pet friendly hotel? It's still very clean...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If the mountains are whispering your name, give us a call. The Old Town Inn makes a great home base for your Crested Butte adventures, wild or civilized. The inn offers all the amenities of a traditional hotel, but feels more like a bed-and-breakfast or European inn, where guests are welcomed like family. Here you can launch your day’s adventure with a hearty Continental breakfast and end it with home-made cookies and treats and a luxuriant soak in our outdoor hot tub. Though we offer one of the best lodging values in Crested Butte, we take excellent care of our guests. Our 33 rooms are spacious and spotless, most with two queen-sized beds (or ask about our king rooms or suite if you prefer). Rooms feature cable television with HBO, phones with voice mail messaging, wireless Internet access and daily housekeeping service. We also provide guest laundry facilities and fax service. We are located at the entrance to Crested Butte, right next to the Town Park, Center for the Arts, movie theater, grocery store and restaurants. We’re just a short walk from historic downtown’s shops and eateries and from cross-country skiing, hiking and biking trails. Just a few steps away, you can catch the free shuttle bus to the ski area. We’d love to be a part of your next mountain getaway. ... more   less
