Loved the Elk Mountain Lodge! We stayed 2 nights. It was like staying with family. Comfortable and cozy. Alex and Brian were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out in the beautiful lobby. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in CB.

We had a great 2 night stay at the Elk. Brian, our host, could not have been more welcoming. We quickly became good friends. The reception area, lounge and breakfast room was warm, inviting and cozy. If you want rustic mountain charm in a gorgeous yet funky, unpretentious little town, Crested Butte and the Elk deliver big time. Our room...

Ideal location 2 blocks off the main street. Historic building with character. Excellent breakfasts, the best we had during our USA trip. Good clean rooms, friendly staff plus bikes available for use. Just the job!

We've been coming to Elk Mountain Lodge in CB for over 10 years and I won't even consider staying anywhere else. The location off Gothic is a perfect walking distance to lunch/dinner/cocktails/shopping...everything you want in CB.

We have stayed at the Elk Mountain Lodge many times over the last 16 years. It is our favorite place to stay in Crested Butte. This is a charming historic lodge in a historic mountain town. The rooms are always spotless, the staff friendly, breakfast is excellent and the location is perfect, an easy walk to town. We highly recommend.

A friendly bed and breakfast in an excellent location. The rooms are small and dated, but plenty comfortable for a day or two. I would not want to spend a week at this lodge. The breakfast is average to below average, and if you are an early riser, not worth waiting for. There is a nice breakfast place within walking...

Thanks for the input. The lodge is Historic and some rooms are small but priced accordingly. For future reference please book our second floor king rooms, they are not suites but much bigger.

Stayed three nights. The lodge is right in town with a two block walk to the main Street with great stores and restaurants. Rooms are nice and clean with private bathrooms. Place has a B&B feel. Free breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location, and very good breakfasts combine to make this a winner. Free bicycles are really handy for getting around town. Room 4 is particularly quiet at the rear of the hotel. Highly recommended.

Our group of eight friends stayed here for two nights. It is an interesting historic building with updated rooms and within easy walking distance of the main street and all the restaurants there. Our balcony room had a nice view of Crested Butte Mountain, but be aware the balconies are tiny. The public rooms and the front porch provided nice...

I'm happy you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry we did not touch base regarding a earlier breakfast for your group. We get many hikers all summer and make sure they get something to eat when they leave early. Many guests start the coffee at 5:30, grab something quick, and leave very early. Please ask us next time the night before...
