Tammy Greeted us upon arrival, she was extra nice and very attentive to guest needs. Thank you Tammy for your Friendly Service! I recommend this place even for one night. It's very quiet, Wood Stoves and fully stocked wood available on front porch and the most important thing is they welcomed our two Dogs for a very small fee!!!!!. Thank...

The Cabins at Historic Columbine may not be for everyone but for those seeking solace from the hustle and bustle of every day life it offers a nice escape. The cabins are located about 20-30 minutes from downtown Steamboat so if being in the middle of everything is what you're after consider another location. I personally prefer the quieter locations...

Thank you very much for the thorough review. My sincere apologies if you did not feel welcomed, that is certainly not the way we strive to run our business. I'll endeavor to do better on a future visit.

My wife and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary in the "Honeymoon" cabin. What an absolutely beautiful and picturesque Colorado getaway! The cabin was very cozy and quaint. We were able to completely unplug, there wasn't cell phone coverage on site, but down the road 2 miles there is. We saw lots of wildlife and spent a day in...

Very rustic and historic. This is truly back in the era. Log cabins are just that ! The view is spectacular and the peace is amazing ! You connect with way more than you think. New owners so not sure what to expect next time. Hopefully not too many changes. Maybe improvements but not changes. Lots of adventuring to be...

We stayed here 5 years ago and loved it enough to return! The new owners, Todd and Tammy, are doing a great job. We stayed in the Gold Camp cabin. It has room enough for 4 adults and is close to the bath house. We love the secluded location of the cabins. Wonderful location to use as a base for...

Returned for the first time in 14 years. Was as great as my wife and I remembered. Small, cozy log cabin with wood burner at the foot of the bed. Nice, clean shower house. We played table tennis in the lodge. I thought of letting her win, but didn't. Took a drive into the national forest. Saw a sow and...

My girlfriend and I spent 5 days at the historic cabins at Columbine the last weekend of February 2016. What a great place to relax and unwind! We stayed in the "Skiers" cabin, with a potbelly stove for heat, and a full kitchen we had everything we needed to unplug from the city for a few days. The views of...

My sister, my niece & I spent 4 nights here and loved it. If you are looking for rustic (but clean), peaceful, relaxing, friendly, unplugged, beautiful surroundings, close to things to do, a million stars at night....nature at it's best, then this is the place for you. Nothing but praise for this place and the people who work there!!

The cabins of Columbine are special and historic - especially the Hilltop we stayed in. It is over 100 years old and has no running water, electric or heat other than the wood stove you feed. And it is AWESOME! Our dogs loved it and so did we. It sits in the middle of an Aspen grove and well apart...

These cabins set in a picturesque mountain setting were a great place to spend some quiet time in the mountains. The cabins are rustic, but very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was more than adequate to cook our meals with all the basic cooking pans and utensils along with a coffee pot and toaster. The staff is friendly and...
