We have stayed several times and we are not disappointed. The office is a mess, good thing the rooms don't look that bad. The room is always clean and the water pressure is super. The towels are nice and fluffy. It would be nice to have a mini fridge and/or microwave. The room we stay in surely has plenty of...

This place was a bit outdated! Office was very cluttered and smelled of cat. The room was clean with an older TV with a fuzzy picture. Close to the road, so there was some road noise. Price was good for an overnight stay but wouldn't want to stay there on an extended vacation.

We spent one night here before climbing a 14er. The rate was fine and the staff friendly (although unavailable after check in). The mattresses are old and could use some updating as colorado81211 said in their review. When I pulled back my sheets… let's just say they had NOT be changed (gross!). I went on a search for the manager...

After more than 30 years of staying here while hiking in the nearby mountains, the Sumac remains cheap and cheerful. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful. There is nothing fancy here, but it is an excellent choice in non-chain lodging. It is adjacent to the City Market and a short walk to the Eddyline Pub and ice cream.

I grew up in the Buena Vista area and was in a transition period when I stayed at this hotel. Don't let them lie to you and say that this place is worth staying at because it's not. All of their beds are very very old spring mattresses. I asked to be moved because I woke up with a very...

Friendly, clean and comfy. There are no frills but it has a courtyard with a fire pit to enjoy on a cool evening and a gas grill to use, and with a grocery store next to it, made it great. The employees were very nice and helpful. If you need a place to lay your head after a full day...

If you want a clean room with a comfortable bed without the frills, you'll find it here. It's an old place, with huge trees and a homey feel. Although we had neighbors on each side of our room, we never heard them other than water running for a shower. Probably due to the thick cement block walls. Parked about 3...

We took a chance on this hotel since it's so reasonably priced, but were very pleased with how spacious and clean it was. The receptionist was highly efficient and helped us obtain a coffee maker which wasn't in the room. The bed was firm but very comfortable. New tile in the shower and a new toilet. Everything about it is...

It's the same place I always stay when I take my annual hunting trip to Buena Vista. The service was a lot better this year, asked for extra pillows and not only did we get the pillows we received extra towels and ash trays. It's a nice place to stay in the middle of town and the prices are reasonable....

Found this at the last minute when all else was booked- gave us a senior discount and reasonable pet fees! Some children can do more damage than dogs! Close to grocery store, and other conviences. Room is clean. one fault is no coffee maker in room. Would stay here again!
