This is an old, simple motel for a great price. My room had ancient furnishings and the bed covers were thread bare, but it was impeccably clean. The room had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was small but very clean. I actually had a 2 bedroom unit which was nice. The location is great! It is...

The Silver Saddle offers modest, reasonably priced accommodations. We had a 2 room suite in the motel section, and it was great for the price.. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect (out of the way, but not too far from town, right on the trail and near the...

If you can deal with a few annoyances and signs of wear and tear at an older property, this is an OK choice—friendly, clean and modestly priced. We had a generally comfortable stay adjacent to natural areas but not far from the center of town. We had hoped for a one-bedroom log -cabin-style unit but could only get a two-bedroom...

During CU parent's weekend, I stayed here for 3 nights in cottage-type room. It was very simple but comfortable. Close to Pearl Street, not far from the university, and next to the foothills. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable. The room included a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and sink. The TV was quite...

The location can't be beat, close to Pearl Street, hiking/biking trails, we were able to walk every where. The lodgings were a little lower end than we're used to but had a great stay in Boulder.

A friend and I stayed at the Silver Saddle during a recent trip to Boulder. We loved the beautiful surroundings, the easy access to Pearl Street and the Boulder Creek Trail. After reading some of the negative reviews on this site as we were planning our trip, we almost changed our reservations but am so glad that we stuck with...

A friend and I recently stayed at the Silver Saddle and had a great time. The motel is old and more to the funky side than posh. It's location could not be beat--right on Boulder Creek Trail and an easy walk to Pearl Street Mall. Surounded by the foot hills and the sound of Boulder Creek made views and ambiance...

We stayed two nights in the newer "motel" section of the property. I had made our reservations several months in advance, and had arranged to get one of the cabin units. I was even given the number of the cabin, and had seen photos of it on the property's web site. Upon arrival, however, we discovered that we were instead...

My husband and I stayed multiple times at the Silver Saddel Motel with the most amazing scenery. We stayed in rooms 28, 42 and in a cabin. The rooms are a little rustic but were always cleaned. The housekeeping was friendly and accomidating. We also met the owner who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will always...
