We were warned (repeatedly) about the bears frequenting the grounds but were not lucky enough to see one. The property is up for sale (and has been for the past year) and is a nice location. The cabins are well maintained and as long as you follow the posted instructions the owners will leave you in peace. The cabins are...

Our family has been vacationing at bighorn cabins for years and we have always loved our time. This place is great for families, for fishermen and for those that love the mountains. This place it located away from the hustle and bustle of life. If you love hiking or fishing, want to see wildlife or just relax. This is the...

Our trip was a couples get-away and we couldn't be happier with the decision to stay at Bighorn Cabins. The hospitality of the friendly couple that own, and manage, the place was outstanding, and the cleanliness and organization of the cabin was exceptional. All the comforts of home, including a very comfy bed, were at hand. We barbecued on the...

Cabins are well maintained and spotless. Even though our cabin was close to the road (Buck), traffic was minimal at night & we could still hear the roaring river, which lulled us to sleep. The mighty Cache La Poudre is right there; spent lazy afternoons sitting by it. Orrin & Sally are wonderful hosts- so sorry to see they have...

We spent 2 nights in the Maverick and enjoyed every minute of it...called last minute and this was the only choice but am so glad it was...we thoroughly enjoy it!! The place was clean and the bed was comfy...in the Poudre Canyon, which on it's own is beautiful! We drove around and explored the back roads of the Rocky Mountains...

We stayed in the Maverick which is a great cabin. Quiet with a sandy spot on the river. We had the windows open at night so we could hear the river. The kitchen was well equipped. We've stayed in other cabins that would have one skillet, one pot, 4 forks, etc, which create difficulties when trying to cook a meal...

You can hear the river from your bedroom. Relax in chairs outside your cabin or overlooking the river. Restaurant next door or cook yourself with well stocked kitchen and large refrigerator. Beautiful grass and hummingbird feeders. Even a sculpture of a ram in the yard. All you expect for a mountain cabin. Scenic drive from Fort Collins. We drove to...

Upon arriving at Bighorn Cabins I was impressed with how well maintained the property was. I was late arriving and Sally (the Owner) waited for us, which was much appreciated). Upon entering the cabin, I could not believe how amazingly clean everything was. Sally may run a tight ship, but its well worth it. Everything was well stocked (toiletries, tissue,...

We had the pleasure of visiting the area and stayed at Bighorn Cabins. We stayed in Lamb. It was spacious, clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The grounds of the cabins are beautiful and everyone there was helpful and friendly. The riverside location just adds to the charm. Fort Collins is about an hour away. Lots of good fishing...

We stayed 4 nights in the Buck cabin. It is very large and clean. There is a large living room/kitchen, a bedroom with a queen (or full?) bed, and a bathroom with a shower stall but no tub. The kitchen is very well stocked with all kinds of pots, utensils, colander, etc., etc. There is a large electric stove, a...
