Between the different themed rooms (ie Room#1=western; Room#6=animal print) and the hard working staff, the Cedar Lodge Motel (formerly called La Cabana) makes for a perfect place to rest between mountain adventures. They provide plenty of towels, a mini fridge, and a full size coffee maker in each room. The staff cleans the room at the end of your stay,...

wonderful owner / operator / bartender. Family owned, great to work with Jamie. She did everything she could to accommodate us, and you can tell. The rooms are clean, and while they might be missing some of the things you get at a more corporate hotel, they definitely make up for it with the personal service. As for as motels...

Adorable little motel - LOVED IT>>> Apparently has changed owners from the past reviews. Our entire family took up 5 rooms and had a terrific time. Clean, new furniture, great service and the price was right!

It's not La Cabana any longer, which I stayed at also. It is now called Cedar Lodge, it is much nicer now, cleaner and all the furniture has been replaced and is very nice. It was a great price and easy to check in and out, I would definitely recommend this motel!

I wish we would have taken pictures of the ants in the bathroom sink, the holes in the bath towels and the dirty carpet. Our friends told us this was the best hotel in the area (we stayed for a wedding). If that's true, I'll never be staying in Wrightwood ever again!

If you like, ugly, smelly hotels then this is your place. Not only this, but the rooms are situated below the bar of the restaurant which has live bands. So, if you like to go to sleep before 11 PM then this is not your place either.
