Soooo I am working on one of my families properties up here in Lake Isabella California which is near here... I chose this place because the pictures made it look really good and nice it is far from that the picture do not even replicate what is here!!! This place is dirty and filthy and really nasty!!! I’ve stayed at Motel 6 that are in better condition than this and that are horrible! I let management know when I got my first room , room 14 that it was dirty and they’re dead bugs ,hair, filth everywhere so they gave me room 15... it seemed a little better but after I got my bags moved over her use the bathroom and had dead bugs... in the bathroom there’s hair /filth -the place has build up like it is not being cleaned right! I started walking around barefooted with my socks on I’m just kind of rubbed the floor little bit with my feet ..when I did my socks were black! So I started investigating this whole room! This place is filthy it is not kept up there is a buildup of dirt and crud everywhere! I spoke with the manager Saturday afternoon and she also brought down her cleaning lady .. we had a lengthy conversation about all of this ... I told her I just wanna the problem rectified !!! they said that they will go ahead and deep re-clean my room on that Sunday! I told her I would be gone early morning and will not be back till later in the afternoon! when I returned at 2:30 in the afternoon my room has not even been touched I did get in contact with the maid and she gave me a bunch of BS excuses and asked if I wanted her to clean it now, told her it was too late and I was done!!!!! We did go to dinner and I did come back and they had remade the beds and lightly cleaned but it was still dirty! I highly advise that you do not spend the money to stay at this place ! I was also told that they do not use bleach to clean their stuff because the owner thinks that it hurts the septic system which tells me that the towels and blankets and bedding or not being washed in bleach which could possibly make it have other bacteria or Covid !!! AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE FILTHY!!!!!

Friendly staff. Cute Hotel great location. But my shower was not hot at all it wasn't freezing it wasn't hot wasn't even warm. My husband took a very long shower and it finally warmed up but what a waste of water to get it to be hot. The rooms are very clean and our bathroom was updated. Again the only problem I had was that I did not have hot water

We were traveling on motorcycles, one in our group got very ill the day before our reservation, so I canceled approx 18 hrs prior to our scheduled check in time. I told her she could go ahead and re rent the room seeing how it was a busy weekend... she said "Your card has already been charged" ok, so credit me back, even partial please, a little consideration please ...? NO! I was charged full price for 2 rooms, even the tax! I understand business is business but I was hoping for a little consideration. We obviously didnt use any water, electric and they didnt have to clean the room... I am also not convinced that she didnt re rent it anyway.

When I first pulled up I was very excited to see that the outside looks very retro. I loooooove the way this place looks. The inside is very nice with a spacious shower and our room has a very nice modern looking kitchenette. Room is very clean, our bed is pretty firm but some people like that. We are only staying here one night and then moving onto our campground. I would definitely stay here again and $75 can’t beat that price.

The office staff were very rude and the women that is the manager does not know what she is doing. She is very lazy. I was not happy with my stay but the rooms are very clean The new manager would not even give us two extra towels. The coffee is horrible and the beds are hard. Wifi sucks and the manager cant help cause she dont know the passwords. This use to be a very nice motel but it has sence gone down hill..

Don’t let the old looks on the exterior fool you, this is a great little motel, with fully modernised rooms, superb shower rooms great bed and furniture. Comes with a small kitchenette and breakfast bar. Set in a lovely location with superb views. . Worth noting, however, the consumption of alcohol is prohibited, so the wine we planned to have with our evening meal remained in its bottle!

When we arrived to the Mount N Lake Motel we were a bit worried if this place is a good one for the kids. It was like a sketchy motel from a movie. But as soon as we opened the door (with a old school key) to the room it changed. Kitchen and bathroom remodelled, the room with vinyl flooring and really nice. The shower was spacious and pleasant and the bed comfortable and big. The room had a lake view. And there was a really nice playground for the kid just across the street. No breakfast.

I stayed here a year ago, I was already pleased with the room. This is my second stay with my family and I am overly satisfied! The room looks totally different with a new door, new Window, bathroom, bed, floor and all of the appliances. Our room had a kitchenette which was also new. The family did a great job at fixing this place up. Don't be discouraged by the old reviews, this place is totally new!

3 adults one child in 2 rooms last minute get a way for Memorial Day weekend. Shout out for a wonderful time at this motel and the owners went out of their way to accommodate us literally at the last minute. Great location only a few miles from awesome great Kern river rafting and what a trip to drive from the Los Angeles area. Our rooms were literally brand new renovated super clean, great Wi-Fi and outstanding value. Microwave and fridge and a very pleasant vibe in this location. On our stay our neighbors all seemed to be families that respected eachother's space and we had no noise issues. As a base to explore the lower Sequoia park and the best of lake Isabella it's a great place to stay.
