Stayed here 2 nights midweek with family. Hotel's got a great rock & roll history, and now renovated into a hip Andaz-brand hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, the free snacks & non-alcoholic drinks were a great touch. Rooms are basic, but have great views...More

Taxi fare approx. USD $60. Hotel doesn't operate a shuttle bus service. Can pre-book shuttle bus online with independent operators. If you do, avoid using Prime Express. We prepaid our pickup from LAX with Prime Express. After arriving at LAX & waiting for 1 hour, their representative informed us they were so busy, they didn't have a bus to transport us to the hotel & said we'd have to make our alternative arrangements but said they'd refund us our prepaid amount. We rang them 48 hours before our return prepaid transfer to confirm our pick up time & they told us they had no booking for us, even though we held the prepaid coupon & had the booking number. Andaz Hotel kindly offered the USD$40 fixed price taxi service but once we were on our way, the taxi driver said to forget about the fixed $40 fare & threw the card out the window. Not sure I'd trust LA transport people. My advice would be go Uber.
