Visited the area to see a concert and wanted somewhere reasonably priced to stay overnight.
The room was clean and we enjoyed a peaceful overnight stay.
The breakfast was a buffet as it was a Sunday, and the food was adequately varied and cooked well.

We stayed for one night and overall enjoyed our stay. The room was perfectly fine and staff were friendly. My wife had an issue with the lack of hot water in the morning and there was a slight musty smell in the room but the breakfast was lovely and we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very basic with very outdated decor. Staff very reluctant to speak to you, as a paying guest it was very disappointing. The bathroom was nothing short of disgusting. It was covered in mould. The shower curtain was useless and the floor ended up completely soaked, which smelt vile as it dried out. The whole place smelt of mould and damp. The quilt was like tissue paper. The beds were old and creeky. The pillows were flat as a pancake. Everything in the place was old and dated. Will never stay again. Thankfully we were here to see family and so spent most of the time with them. The only part of the stay that was enjoyable was leaving!!

Can only write about my experience. Stayed here as we were attending a funeral at the nearby church. As we only paid £65 for b&b my expectations weren't high but found this to be excellent value for money. Room was clean with tea & coffee making facilities. Although facing the road we didn't hear anything all night, it was very quiet. Bathroom could do with a little tlc but was clean enough. Bed very comfortable. Adjoining pub served excellent food. Breakfast was adequate and well cooked. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again. Will say that people who pay these sort of prices shouldn't expect five star accommodation .

Nice little hidden gem Pub and hotel. Room 5 was fantastic, clean, well presented tea tray, towel rail in bathroom was not working, cooked breakfast was fantastic 10/10 but continental was a bit limited and they did not have any croissants as stated on the breakfast menu. The only other negative thing was the gutter above the entrance to the rooms was blocked so it was like a waterfall coming from the roof. My wife is in a wheelchair and got absolutely drenched last night trying to get her wheelchair through the door as it got caught on the step and the water was pouring from the gutter. Would definitely recommend the pub and hotel, staff were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Booking in to this place was okay. Food was okay from bar for a pub.
Bed and breakfast we stayed for 4 days. Breakfast was not that good, if you did not want the small fry up, all you had was cereal or toast , with a cheap yogurt, fruit juice.pre booked breakfast night before.
Thursday night Quiz night, we was told you can eat in the restaurant but you have to be out of the seats by about 8pm, because the quiz takes over, and they all like the same tables. Friday was a Jazz evening, went over early to eat, booked my table on wednesday, young lady had trouble finding it, thought we were going to go else where, but lucky she did find my booking. Not in restaurant side all tables taken by people waiting for Jazz to start, we got put on a table basically in the games area of the pub. Husband sat on a settee which he had to use 2 cushions so he could reach the table, not ideal for an 81 year old man. We had the carvery which was nice, we left early again when we had intentions to stay for the show, but we did not feel welcome, this feeling was with us for the whole visit. Saturday morning was a gentlemans breakfast where the pub was booked , we was told it was a buffet style this morning, the breakfast my husband had was terrible , a manky sausage he left in the tray, and the rest was warm and dried out. When we walked into breakfast this morning we saw the 2 cleaners next to the landlord or owner not sure what he was, he looked over to the ladies and said something, and one of them said they are staying here, this man had no idea we spent 4 days at £100 a night, and spent over 200 pound in the bar on food and drink. In the end we felt lets get out of here, we left sunday morning did not bother stopping for breakfast. We have been in this pub several times before for a meal, but would never go back . Accommodation side feels like a side line which they dont really care about. Staying there for 4 nights without a ny acknowledgement from the owner or landlord , we feel the experiance we had was far from 5 stars. If i could have given a zero i would have done. So this place needs to realise it is not only the locals he should look after but holiday makers as well, hopefully they take my comments on board for the future, and treat everyone the same. But I would not hokd my breath

The property is very clean and the staff always very helpful. The rooms although some facing a main road you can’t really hear the traffic at all. Room has all the essentials plus extras. I really like the ice cold water machine just outside the rooms and the smart tvs.

The duvet to me is perfect combination, not too thick, not too thin.

The breakfast in the morning is amazing and just adds more value to the price of the accommodation.

I would and have traveled extra miles to come snd stay here rather than somewhere else due to the great experiences I have had in the past.

On a whole, the staff and the property itself makes this a fantastic place to stay or even visit for a drink.

We stayed for one night we were a little a bit nervous after reading some of the previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The room was really clean and with a sweet touch of chocolate on the the bed with towels.

The staff were really friendly and very helpful only negative was the room did smell a little funny and the shower wasn’t too powerful.

For the price you pay and with breakfast we couldn’t fault it. We also couldn’t hear any noise from the pub in our room.

My partner and I stayed for one night and were very impressed with not only the cleanlyness but the food as well. The carvery was great, the meat was tender and succulent and the veg had a little bite. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and warm and the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. I would heartily recommend this place for couples and families as the beer garden has a lovely play area and some very cute rabbits you will not regret staying here.

Lovely place , stayed for one night as visiting my unwell grandad . Check in was fast and the lady was lovely . Rooms spotless , beds comfy , tv has Netflix and Disney which was a nice touch as we travelled down from Manchester and were tired . Food as amazing … we had a evening meal and breakfast .

Yes, I don't see any reason not to. The staff are extremely friendly, it was just the quality of the beds in their B&B section that were sub standard. Hope Goodwood goes well for you and you enjoy your day.
