This was the second year that my wife and I spent Christmas at Pine Rose. Our purpose was to get away from a very stressful environment and job. Once again, we stayed in the "Fisherman's Hideaway" and enjoyed every minute. We had a snow storm on our second day and were able to celebrate a white Christmas. Can't say enough about the staff. When it came time to leave, they cleared a path through the snow for us to easily drive out and the maintenance guys even helped me install our snow chains. Top notch service and attention to our every need. Highly recommend Pine Rose. We will definitely return again next year. By the way, our dog Sammy had a once in a lifetime experience - his first snow. Thank you so much for all you do to accommodate your guests.
From check in to check out this was a wonderful experience. My cabin had its own Christmas tree, which was a wonderful surprise. The cabin is cozy and charming and the surrounding area is just beautiful. It was my first time to the area and to Pine Rose Cabins, and it won’t be my last!
We stayed 11/30/21. Cabin #8 The lady who checked us in was so nice and helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave us a free bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Cabin was very clean and all decorated for Christmas. This was for our 38th anniversary, and my wife was so happy and impressed. Highly recommended. I was a hero :-)) Thank you!
We stayed in the Sunflower Cabin (#7). It was so comfortable and had enough room for us and our golden retriever. It was great to have a kitchen and the living room was perfect for lounging. My family used our time as a pre-Thanksgiving gathering so, as a group, we booked 4 cabins. It was very nice to be able to gather together and then "go home" when we wanted. We're talking about doing this again.
We recently enjoyed a wonderful two night stay in Cabin #14 also aptly named the Deer Creek! The Pine Rose cabins offer a variety of lovely cabins which provide differing highlights or attributes. Cabin #14 has two bedrooms and a very comfortable sofa bed which was adequate for my 99 year old mother and her three super senior daughters! Mom relaxed on the large deck enjoying the creeks and marvelous mountain aromas! We enjoyed the many charming hikes on their lovely trails with ample opportunities to sit and listen to the creek, blue jays, and rustling trees! The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking items, microwave, gas oven, and large refrigerator! We appreciated the cable TV with hundreds of movie or channel selections. The staff was helpful and very proud of their exceptional property! Many thanks for their diligence and commitment to providing fantastic services at the Pine Rose Cabins!…
We stayed 2 nights in the studio cabin Rustic Romance. Wished we’d booked an extra night as we didn’t want to leave. Our cabin was spotless clean, the king bed and pillows (only 2) very comfortable. Felt they should have provided paper towels (they told us they don’t because people flush them down the toilets!?) The lights around the outside of the cabins was so pretty at night. We were instantly transformed by this property-the quiet walking trails, so many places along the way to stop and sit and contemplate, the creeks and sound of water everywhere, such fun watching the birds, squirrels, the koi fish (fish food for sale in lobby), walking the little footbridges over creeks. Bring a book and enjoy the tranquility. We can’t wait to go back. Already looking at dates!
I stayed in 2 different cabins and they were both exact hat I wanted. Cute cabins in the mountains that actually look like cabins not a house. Kitchen and bathroom were a little small, but they worked just find. All the employees were very nice and helpful. I had to call the inn keeper because I smelled gas in the kitchen Barry came over within a few minutes. He was wonderful and got it fixed in no time. Would definitely stay here again.
We've stayed in the Indian Outpost twice now and I've visited about 7 times over the past 15 years. First time at Indian Outpost it was so snowy that it was all the way upto the deck! Second time we could actually see the outside of the cabin and get a feel for what it really looked like! Love that they stock the kitchen with most of the essentials to cook - bring your own spices, paper towels (they are eco friendly) extra dish towels, Towels for rags to wipe your feet if you get wet!, odd kitchen utensils you might need if you are making a specific meal! They stock the standard items but not the above and beyond items you may need. Love the pitcher of water with fresh mountain spring water one of my favorite things to drink the fresh water!!!! Indian Outpost has a fireplace that's lovely to keep the living room warm, the heater works like you wouldn't believe and heats the first bedroom very very well! If you don't like to be warm take the second bedroom and you have a chance to use the small heater and have a TV! Love that the bathroom has the sink outside with the toilet and shower in a seperate spot and you have a door to the outside back patio. It's clean and the wifi works like a charm and so does the streaming on TV - you aren't without the comforts of home but you are surrounded by trees, fresh air and relaxation!!! I can't wait to return and hopefully book for my birthday one year! I'm a new years baby and they are usually booked and have a 5 night min which is challenging for me to get off at that time of year!!! BUT you also never know if it's going to be snowy in Jan or Feb because of the odd weather changes!!! LOVE this place and highly recomend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area - I prefer it over Big Bear because it's secluded! OH and the Antler's Inn restaurant - A+ such great food and so close that you can walk up to grab a bite or take it to your cabin!!!…
We could not have found a more perfect place to rent! The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. Outside of our cabin was a perfect deck with a barbecue and a Beautiful stream. There was also a little swing set next to our cabin. We lucked out because it had just snowed so it was a winter wonderland. My friend has also stayed there during the summer and said the hiking is amazing and both the lake are very close by. Thank you so much for a perfect getaway!
My husband and I and are two furry children went up the second weekend in December. This place is so cute, almost like being in a storybook! When we arrived to our Wild Bill cabin we were pleasantly surprised that the cabin was fully decorated for Christmas with cowboy themed ornaments! The place was so cozy and clean. It has a nice porch in the back with a babbling creek running beside it, and is equipped with a gas barbecue. Our dogs loved it! It was priced reasonably and is close to Arrowhead Village. We had a wonderful time and would go back again. I highly recommend for family and dog lovers!
