Excellent place, outstanding service. Meticulously clean, friendly staff, great service. For example, they did all the work on arranging and connecting with our rental car, offered to give us a ride to the train station on our last morning (but we decided to walk instead), printed out maps for us, gave us half a can of the delicious oatmeal they...

We stayed at the lovely boutique hotel for 2 nights while we were in the area for a wedding at the nearby Martis Camp Lodge. The location is great! It feels remote, yet is just minutes from trails, restaurants, and Martis Camp. The staff was pleasant and efficient, and the bedding was beyond comfortable! It was the perfect base for...

It's an excellent 4 star hotel. Stephanie at the front desk made our visit. She was great. Rooms are good. Bed was not the most comfortable. Place is well maintained. Breakfast was good. Convenient location near Truckee, not far from north shore to Tahoe. We will return.

Our sweet and thoughtful parents gifted us with a 2-night stay at this beautiful hotel. Super accommodating and attentive staff. They allowed my sweet dad to come in and collect the key-card in advance to save us the hassle. He also dropped off a bottle of champagne which they had ready and waiting for us when we finally made it...

Love this place. The staff and owners were amazing. My husband and I got injured in a white water rafting adventure while staying here this week and the owner came to the hospital to check on us to make sure we were ok. Patty is a great person and runs a beautiful, emaculate hotel. The restaurant serves some of the...

Thank you SO much to Patty, Jeff & Stefanie at the Cedar House Sport Hotel for hosting the Wounded Warrior Project Couples Rereat summer 2016! You are ALL SO personable and hard working! On top of making it a wonderful experience for our group to go river rafting and do a ropes course with zip lining, you have such a...

My husband and I were SO lucky to stay for our minimoon. The room was beautiful, with Rose petals on the bed and complimentary drinks to congratulate us. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were so comfortable. For the 2 of us who love getting up early to go foshing and hiking, this was ideal. We will hopefully come...

We have stayed at the Cedar House Sport Hotel numerous times with various pets and have always had a great experience. They have wonderfully comfortable beds. The beds are dressed with European duvets, so that each person has their own separate duvet. The sheets are so wonderful that there is actually a market for them. They provide a very nice...

We head to Truckee about twice a year to either ski or hang out. We prefer to bring our Sheltie mix dog as she loves the area and we enjoy having her with us. Until we found the Cedar House Sport Hotel, we've had to stay in less than appetizing hotels that looked, felt and smelled as if poorly behaved...
