I originally booked 1 bedroom in Catamount bldg but found out that all the 1 bedrooms face Village walkway which is narrow, can get crowded and loud with music. So, I had to request an upgrade to Big Horn for better view while paying extra since I stayed for 5 days. Front desk personnel, Katie was very helpful and understanding...

What a fantastic place to stay for a long weekend in Lake Tahoe! Service (from reservations to concierge to front desk staff) was excellent-- all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exactly what we wanted. Our 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo was immaculate and beyond comfortable. The location in the Village at Northstar was excellent-- so close...

We stayed at this hotel/resort condo from 4/5 - 4/8. Got a good deal through expedia with our 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom - full kitchen condo. After a long drive on the snowy I80, we were so pleased to settle in this comfortable condo. It has the all things you need with fully-stocked kitchen, really nice full-size washer and dry...

Hi Lightandsalt- Thank you for your wonderful review & we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at Big Horn Lodge. Yes, you are correct-- it is one of the closest lodges to the gondola; Catamount & One Village Place (directly above the gondola) also offer exceptional proximity to/from the slopes. Summertime in Tahoe is wonderful, too & we are...

Tahoe Mountain Resort at Northstar is a great place in the winter, but summer it is lacking. We were invited by our friends to stay for a weekend in a beautiful 2 bedroom condo. The furnishings looked amazing, but the beds sloped into the middle and the air conditioning only blew hot air into the rooms. In the winter this...

We found this resort online and we were very please with the unit. The rental company we used was called Lake Tahoe Mountain Vacations. They manage several units in Tahoe, but we were only interested in staying at NorthStar. The resort at Big Horn Lodge is one of the newly built condo complexes and it was lovely. The management company...

The search is over, this is THE PLACE. Not perhaps the Big Horn specifically, but just the whole Tahoe Mountain Resorts program, impeccable. We visited in January 2014 and had an incredible time. Upon check-in, and throughout, the staff were all extremely courteous and helpful and our room was ready hours ahead of schedule (perhaps attributed to the fact that...

I just checked out of my stay at 210 Bighorn and it was top-notch. I couldn't ask for a better experience. The location cannot be beaten with a prime location in the village at Northstar. I only say wrong time of year because although it is summer and the kids are out of school, I am told that Tahoe (or in this case Northstar) doesn't pick up until after June 28th. “I preferr the top floor (4-floors) because the views seem better. We had a view of the mountain and ski lift (very peacful & quiet) but next time I'd like to face the inside village with shops & restaurants.”

“Pick room 210, hand down the best spot to be!! I walked right out of the patio and was steps from the Gondola and the village. Looks like one of only two or three units that you could do this from. I cannot wait to come back this winter and ski in and out of the unit, a must for me on any ski trip! If you've never done ski in ski out you don't know what you're missing! As I mentioned above, the inside is immaculate with all the details upgraded.”
