We had no idea. The photos were tempting. And it all sounded good. My husband and I had been looking for a 5-star property for three days, and thought that this would work for us. But the reality was way way way way beyond our expectations - - and we couldn't have been more delighted. The cottage itself was more...

This is a wonderful cottage experience, Jan runs a top-notch operation. The cottage is cozy and the breakfast is truly wonderful. We had sausage and fresh eggs, scones, and the most delicious strawberries. We dined out at Nick's Cove and kayaked with Point Reyes Outdoors, fun trip!

Beautiful property and awesome hospitality. Jan is the perfect host and amazing chef. We couldn't ask for a more amazing breakfast each morning. Also, they brew and bottle their own hard cider which is outstanding. Not too sweet. Very close to some beautiful beaches. She suggests a few places to eat. PAY ATTENTION TO THAT! We did and were not...

This cottage is a gem; comfortable, cozy, attentive but unobstrusive innkeeper.Great breakfasts---so much food that we had breakfast leftovers for dinner two of the three nights of our stay. Best scones and muffins I've ever had. Great piano jazz on the internet radio. One of our best B&B experiences in 35 years of traveling together.

Stayed 2 enjoyable nights at the Apple Garden Cottage for our visit to the Point Reyes National Seashore. Extremely comfortable accommodation plus a tasty breakfast in the morning. Our first evening we ate at Nicks Cove - good food but rather expensive. With cooking facilities available at the Cottage we 'ate in' on the second night. Mention must also be made...

It's a great place to stay. The cottage is well decorated, clean and cozy. Jan is a great host. As we arrived, she welcomed us with a afternoon snack and introduced her place for us. Breakfast is yummy, healthy and different every day, including homemade granola, fresh strawberry & eggs from her farm and waffle. We had great time staying...

The cottage is very roomy and cozy. It is tastefully decorated-- quaint but modern, with all the comforts of home (even WiFi). The comfy chairs and bedroom were so inviting we were inclined to pause to take an afternoon nap. The setting is quiet and bucolic. It seemed less like a hotel or even a B&B than it did staying...

To say that the AppleGarden Cottage is a relaxing refuge is an understatement. As soon as you arrive in the cottage you are greeted with soothing classical music, goat cheese and crackers for snacking and a bottle of delicious cold AppleGarden hard cider in the fridge. Homemade cookies and granola are also available in the kitchen. Yogurt, creamery butter and...
