We have stayed here many times in the past and have always enjoyed the place. This time we had chain smokers on both sides of us, we were in #17 and unfortunately you have to pass #16 to get to you door. The guy in #16 and the guys in #18 were chain smoking the whole time, and the rooms...

I've had the good fortune of coming to Lake Tahoe all my life (my family has a place in Homewood), but we stayed at the Franciscan the first weekend in August with friends who had stayed here before and recommended it. What a beautiful place! The pier, the walk-in sandy beach... what a great place for families! The cabins were...

My husband and I visited the Franciscan Lodge in late March as part of a "second honeymoon" trip, and were very pleased with our decision. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and attractive, and the view of the lake and mountains from our deck was breathtaking. We also found the staff helpful and courteous, especially when they helped us figure...

I told her that we will be checking in late, she advised to go straight to room and gave me room number. Upon arrival at 11pm, we found some people already in...

The lodge is located near restuarnats, shops, beaches and Sand Harbor. I was told by the staff it was 15 min away but actually timed it and...

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place as I was trying to make a U Turn to head back to King's Beach. As soon as we pulled in we knew we had found somewhere special. It's so beautiful, calm and peaceful and lined with private beaches and Chaise lounge chairs so one really doesn't need to go anywhere. I've...

We have stayed at the Franciscan many times and are always happy with the cute and cozy rooms and the beautiful view of the lake and mountains. It's nice to be able to walk out on the pier. We have cooked in our room and also enjoyed the many great restaurants nearby. The Franciscan is a very relaxing place.
