We were on a winter road trip heading north to Oregon and decided to see what places there might be to stay beyond Reno. Voila, Trip Advisor directed us to Roseberry House in Susanville, a town we had never heard of even though we had lived in California all our lives. We had a perfect visit with the lovely owners,...

In Susanville for a week of business, I wanted to stay within walking distance of restaurants and away from traffic. Roseberry House was the perfect spot. The owners, Richard and Charmy, invited me in like family. The rooms are comfortable and filled with antiques, the breakfast was hearty and I was able to store my lunch leftovers in their refrigerator....

I needed a place to overnight between Oregon and the Owens Valley. Everyone said.. go to Reno, there's nothing in Susanville. They were wrong. The Roseberry House is in Susanville. After leaving home in OR for an extended work assignment and driving most of the day, this place was exactly what I needed. The beds are dreamy here. The rooms...

For the past three years, I have been traveling to Susanville from Sacramento, CA once a month for work. As I told the lovely owners/hosts Richard and Charmy (pronounced Sharmy), it is a true shame that it took me three years to discover this wonderful Bed and Breakfast (BnB for this review)! Upon driving up to the lovely baby-blue colored...

The joy of staying at a B & B is the experience of getting to know the owners. One couldn't have asked for nicer or more hospitable couple than Charmy & Richard. After one night of staying in their place we feel as if we have known them for years. We stayed in the Jenny Room where the AC kept...

We stopped at Susanville en route to Lake Tahoe from Crater Lake. Its a fair jaunt from Crater Lake & we got there around 6ish. The inn keepers were so friendly & welcoming, and our room was big and well appointed. Very Victorian and had a nice feel. Décor was a little busy for us, but very characterful. Breakfast was...

I travel alot internationally for work (even staying in 5 star/ 5 diamond hotels in Asia). And, in February I had the opportunity to stay in the Roseberry House while I was visiting my boyfriend's relatives. We had a lovely room, amazing hospitality and lovely food at breakfast. Charmy and Richard are delightful prioprietors and I would stay at the...

Everything we could have asked for and more. From the welcome cookies, to the excellent breakfast. Amazing rooms, peace and quiet. Charmy and Richard made us feel right at home. Thank you, for the suggestions on where to find the best brew in town to all the wonderful things to see and do. Wish I could give more than 5...

We have stayed in this b&b a number of times. This year we stopped once on the way north and then the return trip south. All the rooms are special and quiet. Hosts are very accommodating and prepare a great breakfast in the morning. Great restaurants are within walking distance. And be sure and have a cookie or three -...

Our one-night stay 9/16/2013 was a delight. Greeted by Richard and Charmy, two warm, friendly and laid-back hosts began our short stay. Room ("Jennys") was very nice and comfy, and the breakfast prepared by Richard was absolutely delicious! In addition, their recommendation for dinner the night before was spot on - the Lassen Ale House at the Pioneer Lounge was...
