We recently had out 3rd visit to Sonoma Chalet (only missing last year due to new grandchild). We couldn't wait to get there - it really feels like our home from home, except that the weather's much better and someone else does breakfast. Joe made us very welcome again and we stayed in a sweet room we hadn't tried before....

My husband and I have been staying in Sara's Cottage every year since our honeymoon in 2003, and now it just feels like an extension of home! We love the location and the privacy. Joe has always been so good to us and we look forward to seeing him every year. We can walk to the square in Sonoma quite...

We stayed at the Sonoma Chalet for one night. We were in a room without a bathroom and it costed $136 (including tax). The house is very old and is decorated with antique looking furniture. It really depends if you are into the antique style or if that creeps you out. Personally, I don't mind vintage stuff, but the bed...

First I want to rebut the review that said the place was like out of a horror film. Completely untrue! Maybe they're afraid of the dark. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in Laura's cottage. I LOVE the decor. True to its billing, it completely reminded me of my grandparents' place, which automatically made me feel at home. It...

Sonoma Chalet is located in the outskirts of town, which is nice, away from the noise. The house was beautifully constructed with hills in the back, really reminding me of Switzerland. Breakfast was simple with fruits, cereal, coffee, hard boiled eggs, and pastry (although I think it was locally bought and not made by the owners as we went to...

Sonoma Chalet is lke staying in grandma's attic. Joe runs a country chalet type bed and breakfast near Sonoma plaza. He has furnished all of the rooms with antiques he has collected over the years. He also has cottages, each with a theme. It was fun just exploring the furnishings in our room. The Chalet is located near the plaza...

Our first bed and breakfast experience...darling cottage home with a rustic/farm decor. The grounds may not be appealing at first from the lot, but the rooms were large and beds comfortable. (Ask for alternative down pillows since my husband was allergic to the pillows.) Joe was a very hospitable and sweet host. Breakfast was perfectly graced with freshly ground coffee,...

We were delighted to come back to Sonoma Chalet again after last year's visit and the owner really went out of his way to make us welcome. The room was perfect , the bathroom very clean and comfortable, fresh fruit and pastries for breakfast and 2 balconies to choose from - sunny or shady - as well as the garden...

The Sonoma Chalet is located close to town - it's only a 5 minute drive to "downtown" Sonoma. We stayed in Sophie's room and Mural room. These are the only two guest rooms on the first floor and share a bathroom and living room. Both rooms also have a sink in the room and a private porch. The guest rooms...

The Sonoma Chalet is a supercute B&B just off the square in the town of Sonoma,CA. Each "room" is a little cottage that is individually decorated with antiques that were acquired by the former owner. We stayed in Laura's cottage, which sits adjacent to the breakfast building. Although we had our own cottage, there wasn't a ton of privacy--Laura's cottage...
