Great place in a quiet small town. The hotel is perfectly located. The town square is very near and has lots of thing to do. The hotel staff is well trained with the area and are quite helpful. The hotel is very chic and well maintained.

Many plusses and minuses. Biggest minus is that his resort is overpriced. Given the location and rooms the cost should be no more than half of what is charged. A cottage for the time we stayed there was $509/night or in my case I used timeshare points (Marriott Vacation Club Points). It cost 4300 points for a 5 night stay...

We had a great stay here. Rooms are beautiful and clean. The pool area is very relaxing. Staff at front desk were very helpful and friendly. Expensive, but totally worth the price. We plan to stay here again at some point!

It was more a hotel than a resort and spa. I expected a little more. Pictures can be a little deceiving. The pool area was nice The staff was ok. not overly helpfull but they were busy. Remember there are different buildings to stay in.

My elderly aunt and her 2 daughters (my cousins) stayed for 2 nights at this hotel for a family wedding in Sonoma. The cottage was good enough for four of us: 2 beds, 1 sofa bed, make-up counter outside the bathroom, commode inside the bathroom but with a privacy door that can be locked, tub/shower, single sink but with enough...

We love Sonoma County. For the final weekend of summer break, we booked a one night stay at the Renaissance. Sadly, we were disappointed. For over $500/per night, I expected much more. First, the "cottage" was small, way small. From the website, you think accommodations the cottage would fit a family of 4 comfortably. The cottage isn't a bungalow at...

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your stay, and I truly apologize for the disappointment you experienced with our room and beds. We will soon be embarking on renovations for our guest rooms, and will have brand new Sealy Mattresses and box-springs by the middle of November 2013! We truly appreciate your business, and...

We stayed 2 nights during the peak season in wine country. The hotel was busy, and the staff handled the guests well. I would stay there again, as long as it was reasonably priced - overall, the hotel is good, the common areas seem more recently updated than the rooms. PROS Walkable to town, with several good restaurants, including The...

My wife and I and another couple spent two nights at the Lodge. As we are Marriott "elite" members, we were both upgraded to casita style rooms with a gas fireplace. The accommodations were spacious and nice enough, although it didn't appear that the rooms have been updated recently. Service was top notch, from the young lady who checked us...

Great cottage with king bed, sitting area, fireplace, makeup area for the ladies, tub with shutters that open into bedroom, and glass enclosed shower. We had an issue with the television but the service person came immediately and it was fixed. We had a balcony with a table and chairs. The only negative for us was it was up 12...

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am delighted that your stay was so positive and that you found great places to discover in both Sonoma and Napa. We recently stayed at The Lodge at Sonoma during Tauck's San Francisco/Wine Country tour. Overall the property is very nice. The lobby is very welcoming and the pool area is well laid out.
