I need to start by saying I am loyal to Marriotts as a frequent traveler and love staying at them! For a Marriott property it has a uniqueness and a boutique feel. Beauty pool and property and in a great location! It is smaller and the staff are quite friendly. If you can, upgrade to the cottages. Well worth it... More

Very nice peaceful hotel in Sonoma. The rooms are spread out into several areas and the rooms are very large, and well appointed. The service at the hotel is exceptional. It's a little ways from the downtown area in Sonoma but there's transportation available.

Let me start by saying this is actually a nice hotel. The lobby and service was good. The hotel room was ok if a little dated and the breakfast was amazing. However what I cannot get over is a room here costs 550$ - which is the same price as Claridges in London or Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo and compared... More

Stayed in the cottage-very nice, large room with fireplace. There was a patio with table and chairs outside each cottage. It is very pretty, quiet and perfect for a wine country getaway. Had off site events to attend, so didn't take advantage of all this resort has to offer, unfortunately (spa). Would have liked another few days to enjoy it more.... More

It has Been a little while since our trip, but this location is one of our all time favorites. Located less than a mile from the center of the town of Sonoma. It is also ideally located for touring Vinyards in Sonoma and Napa. Try to get one of the pool side cabins. There is a wonderful restaurant attached to... More

We are staying in the cottages that have fireplaces. Quiet, relaxing and a beautiful setting. In the evenings they have free wine tasting. They are going to refurbish all the rooms starting in January 2017.

We stayed three nights at the Lodge at Sonoma, our base for visiting wine country. We booked a 'cottage' room, close to a studio apartment in size containing a king bed, TV sitting area with fireplace and very large, luxurious bathroom. The lobby and pool areas are attractive gathering points and lush gardens adorn the property. This is a very... More

We love staying here as it's not as busy as Napa but the property is beautiful. Rooms are nicely appointed and the staff has always treated us wonderfully. Great pool to relax at the end of the day. Close to everything in wine country.

We stayed here two nights during our Sonoma stop on our honeymoon. We loved the hotel and will be back! They have a shuttle that goes back and forth from Sonoma Square so it's like you're staying right there. They also have wine tastings in the lobby every afternoon and you can sit by the pool and enjoy. I loved... More

We are semi-locals and know the area well. We had a special occasion to celebrate and wanted a quick "stay-cation". We found The Lodge at Sonoma to be a truly lovely hotel with a nice vibe in a great location. Wineries surround the area and you are close to the center square of Sonoma for shops and great restaurants. We... More
