This hotel refused to let me have my certified service dog with me unless I paid a $15 pet fee. This is against the ADA law. I tried to explain this to the lady at the front desk but she stated I had to pay it or my service dog could not stay. My husband went back to the office after checking in to show the lady the law. She apologized and said the General Manager, Lisa Magdaleno, makes everyone pay pet fees, even for service animals and that she is “not allowed” to refund this fee!

Nice enough for quick access to the park. Attached restaurant was convenient for breakfast and gas was right across the street. Room was clean, nothing stood out of place. Our room had a couch and a mini kitchen which was ok but didn’t need the kitchen. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights to do some wine tasting and hiking in the area. First had a room upstairs right behind the lobby and the desk person kindly moved us to the back (motel is close to the highway so noisy in the front). Room was a bit overly "deodorized", but letting some fresh air in fixed that problem. The one recommendation I have is to get drinking water from a dispensary, at least 2 of which are nearby. Obviously, the water in Soledad is not very good in general (not confined to the motel). It had a distinct sulfur and iron smell.

We were in the area for a wedding and this motel was recommended. The staff was very friendly and there is a nice pool and small hot tub. The rooms are adequate, but outdated. I recommend you bring a power strip if you have more than one phone to charge. There are not a lot of lodging choices in Soledad and this one was clean, if unremarkable. Each day we were here we to ask for enough towels for the three people in our room. However, the advertised continental breakfast was a huge disappointment. Cold cereal, bread to toast and some cheap packaged pastries. I have had better choices at the Super 8 chain. If you're visiting Pinnacles, it's very well situated.

Extremely clean and very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Large rooms. Easy check in. Windmill restaurant on site is also great. Great stop on a long journey. Well priced. Would stay again. Recommended!
