I so loved my stay at Shaver Lake Village. I have always went camping there, but never stayed in the hotel. Best trip ever. The staff are amazing. I plan to go again this year... I loved everyone there.

Had a really nice stay in the bear cabin. It was clean and cozy, perfect for Christmas week.its a 1 bedroom with a day bed, coffee maker, little refrigerator and microwave. We brought some firewood and enjoyed a nice fire in the fireplace which helped keep the cabin warm, but the wall heater worked well too. The staff was very...

I went here in October during the off season. The place was very empty. I didn't see any tourists and the market next door was closed. I should have brought my husband or a friend because after seeing b-big scat on the trail, and a little ways from the cabin, I didn't want to go exploring alone. However, the air...

My fiancé and I stayed in the "honeymoose" suit for two nights. We had a great time! The room was very charming and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace and nice sitting area outside. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We liked that it was within walking distance to the...

We found Deacon rat killer underneath our bed. Obviously there's rats in the room if you have Deacon out. We also noticed something white on the base of the ceiling fan. After getting a closer look it was a floss toothpick and toilet paper jammed in it like a shim. If that wasn't enough we were kept up all night...

Wow.....another tough review to respond to! First....our deepest apologies! Although we did receive AAA's highest ranking for cleanliness of our rooms, I'm sure we make more than our share of mistakes. I don't know how to even respond to the floss in the fan issue. I have no idea how that would have gotten there....or why we didn't catch it....

This is not a uptight, high-end chain hotel with room service and a day spa. This is an awesome place to get away with your family if you like to relax and go with the flow. We rented the Cowboy cabin with my two boys. We got in late on Friday night; but had no problem getting into our cabin....

Wonderful costomer service! Our family booked a bunkhouse due to the rain and cold as we were camping at beautiful Camp Edison. We were greeted at the front desk by a very sweet and charming young lady who showed us where we would be staying. The grounds were lovely and our accomodations very cozy. Our family can't wait to come...

The hotel is very basic. Thin walls so we could hear the people in the next room showering. A little run down, but I guess that's all one can expect in the woods. An average breakfast included. Broken blinds, burned out light bulbs. Cleanliness was questionable. No maid service or clean towels each day.

What an awesome, cozy and unique place to stay for the weekend! We got there in the early afternoon and the weather was perfect. My boyfriend and I had just the experience we were hoping for. A nice rustic setting in a cabin of our own with a fireplace, wine, movies and great pizza from just down the street. I...

We booked in as escapees from lakeshore resort. The reception was brilliant and fully understood our orebious bad experience. We were offered 2 rooms and took the cheaper one as only staying for one night. Very comfortable king size bed, pleasant room of adequate size, all the resources we needed, clean. Breakfast fairly basic. Most hotels in California seem to give...
