We stayed in a suite in one of the historical rooms, and it was lovely. The suite is enormous, with a great living room that includes every possible amenity. There's even a window seat, where we had the most romantic room service dinner, looking out at a view all the way to San Francisco! Staff and service 100% perfect. This...

We stayed last weekend here for a family birthday. We all loved it. our room was a historic King and was perfect for my husband and myslef. Very nice touches throughout including turndown service, robes and slippers, an in room espresso maker and fantastic bath products. The food at the Farley Bar and Murray Circle Restaurant was so delicious and...

Spent two nights here for a milestone birthday. High points are the view from the main buildings' verandas, the spa, and the restaurant, where we hosted a large dinner party. Restaurant provided very good food, an inspired (but very pricey) wine list, and our head server, Erika, was outstanding. Spa was excellent. Service in the hotel itself was friendly but...

Very unique property and a nice oversized room with excellent view of the iconic GGB. Just around corner from Marin headlands with breathtaking views. Easily accessible to SF and only 5 minutes to Sausalito. Wonderful porch for breakfast, and a very Zen spa. If you like non franchised accommodations this is my recommendation.

If you live in the bay area and want to celebrate a special occasion by staying local, Cavallo Point is a perfect getaway / retreat. Located at Fort Baker / Sausalito, at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge, it's close the city, yet such a serene location. The fog horns are a part of the life around the Bridge,...

I'd stay here again! nice/quiet and only 15 minutes from San Francisco. Each bungalow has 1-3? units. All buildings are old but renovated inside. We stayed in the historic lodging. If you want more of a modern feel, request the "contemporary lodging" what I dislike is the self-park. I don't like valet b/c i don't like others driving my vehicle....

we loved this place!!! Travel agent got us an amazing deal. The views were astonishing. We stayed in the contemporary rooms with a view but we took a tour and saw that the historical rooms were also incredible. So dog friendly; dogs & their people everywhere. When we visit my son in SF he always treats us to a "spa treatment" at Cavallo Point. We start off with a great massage and then spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the facilities , such as the steam room , hot tub , and the outdoor heated saltwater pool. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon...
