I had been looking for someplace special to take my husband for his 50th birthday. Imagine my delight when I discovered The Glen Tavern Inn in quaint Santa Paula. A perfect weekend getaway from where we live in L.A. I was able to book a large, airy room that actor John Wayne had once stayed in. The perfect surprise for...

The Glen Tavern Inn is truly a magical place. The hotel and staff are all top notch. My wife and I had a marvelous time. It was like being transported to an earlier time when service and hospitality meant something. The staff went out of their way to make our stay special in every way. The hotel itself is amazing-...

I had my wedding at the Glen Tavern and just can't imagine where the negative reviews are coming from! The staff is amazing and on top of everything. My event ran perfectly. The hotel itself is old, but very charming. It was clean and quaint. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly and all my guests that stayed at the...

I live in West Hollywood, and a friend of mine told me about this place. I am in my early 20's, and work in the city so I wanted to get away to a quiet place near Ojai, but not in the hot canyon. I drove up with my friends who love historical places. From the moment I walked in...

The Glen Tavern Inn is situated in the middle of old town Santa Paula. It's walking distance of shopping, antique stores, a park and an old (restored) railroad. This was perfect for some classic family reunion photos and some great affordable vintage finds! Staying at this hotel was like stepping into the past with all the accommodations of the present....

We stayed for 3 nights and had a special rate of 60$, which is an adequate price for this hotel. The standard prices to me seem exagerated, because the hotel is not well maintained, the service is bad and the outdoor pool does not exist. Well there is one behind a garage, but it says private property, secured by a...

We visit Santa Paula a couple of times a year and always stay here, for the location and for the charm. The spacious lobby and the other public areas feature 1930's movie posters in a neat arts & crafts style. The rooms, while quite serviceable, are a conglomeration of refurbishing efforts that weren't very well done. I figured that a...

We had a wedding at this facility. The bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome!!! As far as the Glen Tavern Inn knowing what to do for a wedding they were horrible. If you don't know what to do don't go to them for advice they will be rude and don't know. Never will we recommend this place for...

It is an old historic property, so the rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean and the front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. The faucets in the bathroom had different knobs for the hot and cold, which was rather amusing. Supposedly it is haunted, which makes the place very interesting. There is no pool, but the...
