We stayed Thanksgiving night and really just needed a bed to lay our head, so we were pleasantly surprised with the room, grounds, and hotel in general. We booked the smallest room, but it was pleasant and clean. Came equipped with a fridge, microwave, tv, and all the other basics. The only thing it lacked was a coffee maker on the room. The bed was firm (which I like). The hotel and grounds are very well-kept, and the courtyard is very nice, with beautiful roses to enjoy. Parking is in a secure area. It’s right around the corner from great restaurants. The owner was extremely attentive to our needs as well. If you stay here, you will be happy. Enjoy!

We left the 'hot' central Ca valley to enjoy a cool evening downtown for dinner the end of June/early July. A historic restored restaurant with many menu choices, some drinks, and excellent service was relaxing. Many fresh desserts are available. When an item we had ordered was not available we were offered free dessert choices! A breakfast was also just steps from the SP Inn at a nearby restaurant. Nice outdoor seating with gentle breezes was just what we needed! Our room had comfortable Q beds, fridge and MW which I needed, and quiet! Room and bath were spacious. Back patio for really quiet comfort. I did miss coffee not available and hope breakfast re-starts on patio soon!

I needed to find accommodations in Santa Paula at the last minute yesterday. After seeing that the inn was already fully booked online, I decided to call the inn directly. I spoke with Atul, the manager, who found a room that met my needs. I was very impressed with Atul's extraordinary service at check-in and check-out, plus he found a precious piece of jewelry that I accidentally dropped and reported missing. I would definitely stay there again!

Great location to shops and restaurants. Quiet and quaint little inn with only a few rooms. Would recommend if you are looking for a decent and inexpensive room for the weekend. The manager was so nice and helpful. The only negative is there was no closet in the room. We stayed 4 days and wished we could have hung more of our clothes. Also the beds were very comfortable but they were tweaky. Again I recommend this hotel.

I was looking for a little getaway to the California Coast for a couple of days but when prices looked exorbitant as they often do in summertime I decided to open my thought to some other nearby possibilities. I’m glad I did! The Santa Paula Inn is a quiet little gem that feels like “home” which is only a few minutes drive from nearby Ventura area beaches. It is also a lovely drive to nearby Ojai and it’s beautiful valley and artistic community. That said, Santa Paula is a pretty little town itself and is worth exploring too! The Santa Paula Inn has a lovely little patio in back, a private parking lot, cool and quiet rooms with everything you could need, a fridge, microwave, flat screen tv and my bed was quite comfortable with nice bedding. Everything was super-clean and well maintained. I felt rested and relaxed after my stay there and will stay again!

My wife and I saw a play at the Santa Paula Theater Center. We didn't want to drive back to Los Angeles that night, so we booked a room at the Santa Paula Inn. The Inn is very conveniently located, just a half block from the downtown district and two blocks from the theater. The accommodations were clean, quiet, and neat, if a little cramped. The operator was very friendly and helpful. We had a good night's rest at a reasonable price. The next morning, we had a good meal at a restaurant just around the corner. We will certainly consider staying here again on future trips to Santa Paula.

The Santa Paula Inn is a quaint 14 room inn near downtown. The rooms are clean and quite. We stayed 4 nights while visiting family, enjoyed it. A light breakfast is also provided. We enjoyed the private patio, with flowers and trees. Also has private parking.

I can't say enough about how much we loved this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and homey. Atul was very friendly and accommodating. The kids loved making s'mores when we got a fire going in the fire pit on the patio. The location is nice with restaurants within walking distance.

My partner and I stayed here for her family reunion. Her family booked the entire inn and we had a great time. The inn was clean and well kept, we were very comfortable there. The manager was funny and friendly. When my partner and I changed our plans to leave a couple of days early to go to Disneyland, he was very accommodating and didn't charge us for the 2 days we cancelled. There was a nice breakfast room and a patio with a fire pit. Our room was next to the street, but well soundproofed. We would definitely stay there again if we visited this area.

We have been staying once or twice a year for nearly ten years at this inn. This is one of our favorite place to stay. We love the charming building. We started noticing a lot of improvement at this inn ever since the new owner bought the place about five years ago. Every time when we stay, we notice the new improvement like new bed, carpet, paint, fencing, etc. that the owner did to improve the place. We are very happy to see the new owner trying hard to improve this historic building. We will keep on coming back here years from now enjoying this historic building
