This gem is great for those that like to be close to the ocean as well as restaurants. We were able to walk down to the water easily, and just as easy to visit the Third Street Promenade.

The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. It’s long overdue for them to spend some money to upgrade the entire hotel especially the outside stairs and the landscaping. The hotel is tired and needs sprucing up.
I booked last minute for a weekend getaway at the coast. The price and location were great. This is an older hotel and definitely a no frills hotel but the rooms are clean and obviously recently remodeled. The room was small but included a mini...More

I found the hotel nice, great location, a stroll from Santa Monica Pier, restaurants and a good walk to Venis Beach and Marina del Rey. If you want a guided tour they leave from Santa Monica Pier and are recommended. The staff are great and...More
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller
coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
