This is a charming inn in an old historic home. All of the rooms are different, and there are several lovely common rooms and porches. The beach is just a block down the road. Staff was warm and accommodating. Homemade breakfast buffet is included - really fabulous! Wine and cheese in the evening is the same. Only negative - the...

The building has character, much more so than so many hotels. The hosts - one on arrival and another on checkout were charming and very helpful with advice and recommendations. Room 2 is perfectly adequate size and had a separate small room for suitcases. Nice touches like cookies in the room tea and coffee available all day downstairs and wine,...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Channel Road Inn. We arrived mid-afternoon following a long drive from the Grand Canyon and received one of the friendliest welcomes we have ever received when checking into a hotel. The property itself is absolutely stunning and the large communal breakfast room and living room are wonderful. The staff at the...

We were received and checked in at the hotel as if we were long lost friends, and were made to fell so special it was unbelievable. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a room with a private decked area which we used constantly. The room was very comfortable, the home made biscuits were very welcome and access to a DVD player...

This was my first visit to Santa Monica, but if I return, I will absolutely stay at the Channel Road Inn. The Inn is a large, beautiful home and each guest room is different. The entrance to my room was outside, at the front, and I had my own small deck and sitting area. My room (#15) also had a...

This was our last stop of a CA coast trip, had to fly home the next morning. Booked one night, we had stayed at a Four Sisters property in Seattle years ago and it was great. We were in Room 2, corner, lots of light and windows. The on site parking here is nice. About a two minute walk to...

We first stayed at the inn around 6 years ago and returned for 3 nights in May. Since our last visit, the inn has been updated and redecorated. By chance we had the same room as last time (Room 11), which was nicely decorated, comfortable, quiet, clean and with a glimpse of the sea. However, the bed was a bit...

After reading several reviews, I booked a weekend stay at the Channel Road Inn with my boyfriend. We had an absolutely wonderful time! We arrived early, and were able to check in a few hours in advance. The staff were incredibly welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, and the Inn was absolutely charming. The home made breakfast was delicious...

This has to be one of the most fabulous places to stay, not only in America but anywhere. What a find. Our choice was made on the fact that we were looking for somewhere fairly long term, we had a hire car but wanted to be in the vicinity, the internet brought up this B&B. Wow, for once a stroke...

Excellent service from all the staff, couldn't do enough for you, i.e. arranged taxis and restaurant bookings. Lounge & dining area was very comfortable and homely. Nice to have car parking available.
