I stayed one night at the Casablanca because for $250, it was all I could afford. We got room 18, which was closest to front desk. It has an amazing view of the beach, volleyball courts and the pier. I wish all of the windows opened up but it was nice none the less. The room was bright and clean...

My wife and I plus a teenager booked this for the location, so we were pleasantly surprised to have recently-renovated room 4 with lots of space, two new queen beds with quality linens, a balcony, wifi, and a knockout view. Staff were friendly and efficient, and even though our time out of the room was different every day, housekeeping worked...

they should be discounting the rates because of the construction occurring everywhere. the lobby was closed, the noise was extreme, there was dirt and debris everywhere, never mind workers on the roof at 9am that drove my little dog crazy. the proximity to the beach is great, and that is the only thing good about my stay

Disappointing, considering it was our Anniversary. No mention that it was under construction during the booking process. It was clean. No 4 poster bed..no fireplace...nothing romantic..like the pics on Expedia....old appliances with something dripping on the outside fridge and frost an inch thick inside. Looks like they started to remodel the room we were in and rented it before it...

We came to San Francisco, Napa Valley & Santa Cruz the end of January for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were excited to see Santa Cruz for the first time, and celebrate our Anniversary there. It was off season, which actually made it really nice. We had a problem with our initial hotel taking advantage of our debit card information,...

Thank goodness for The Casablanca Inn! Planning a memorial, the rain decided we needed to move our large group inside. The staff, the facility; the last minute everything were totally handled. 100% Bravo!

The perfect accommodations for meeting an old love after 27 years! The view and the room were magical! It was hard to choose between a romantic walk on the beach...grazing on seafood on the Pier or staying in the room and enjoying the balcony. The staff was helpful and extremely friendly...the whole experience helped make one more incredible memory... hopefully...

We really enjoyed the location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 3 right across the street from the ocean which was a nice view. Room was clean, remodeled and in excellent condition. Only minor complaint was the blinds are transparent and light shines into the room at night, which was pretty bright. Maintenance was kind enough...

When we arrive late check-in we found our balcony door had been left open and the room was 38 degrees. The small heating unit crackled and popped loudly all night giving us no sleep. There was no coffee in the room to wake up to. We requested another room and we are accommodated with a beach front room only to...
