We spent two nights in a room that was not much bigger than the bed, which was sloppily made. There was no dresser or closet, only a desk topped with a microwave and a rod sticking out of the wall behind the door with a couple of hangers on it. The carpet and furniture were shabby and stained and there...

Perfect location. Cute little boutique motel overlooking the harbor in Santa Cruz. Rooms are clean and eclectic. Literally a one block walk to the wharf. Took surfing lessons well there and only had to walk out our door and go a block to get there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a fancy place but very comfortable and...

Simply perfect! This quaint and beautiful Beach Inn is an amazing place to stay. The location is the best for Santa Cruz livelihood including the beach and boardwalk. Our room was clean, comfortable and fun to hang out in. We enjoyed the gorgeous beachy grounds, full of colorful flowers and ocean air. The operations manager, Jessy, was so outstanding and...

Stayed 2 nights, Great location, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The deck has a great view of the ocean. The beds are very comfortable. No bath tub only a shower stall the complimentary soaps were nice. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. I drive a one ton pickup and there was plenty of...

Old school vibe. Very comfortable & staff very inviting & friendly. Our room consisted of a large ktchen bedroom bathroom & living room. We also enjoyed the fireplace to warm us in the early morning. cute patio area. The grounds have beautiful roses & many other flowers. Have been coming to this place for many years. Always enjoy my stay.

What a real treat to able to stay at the Edgewater Beach after 45 years of staying here with my parents in the 60's 70's and 80's and as an adult through the late 90's until I moved from Sonoma to Akron Ohio. What was really a treat was running into the owner Win's daughter Elaine and the front desk...

My fiance and I have stayed at the Edgewater three times, and it is always a lovely experience. The location is fabulous -- just a short walk down to the wharf and boardwalk. The rooms and grounds are impeccably clean, nicely decorated, and well appointed. Best of all, though, is the management and staff. This trip was an anniversary for...

For two years in a row now my kids and I have come here for Mother's Day weekend. There's nothing glitzy or glamorous about the place it's just a nice, clean place to stay with a friendly staff. I like that it's right across the street from the pier and Boardwalk. We come, we enjoy, we relax. There is a...

Santa Cruz is a cool town, definitely unique. It seems that things are on a different schedule here and not everything is perfect. But, that's ok, because it's Santa Cruz. I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on a short trip to the Bay Area. The rooms did the job, I stayed in a non-ocean view for two...

My boyfriend and I come to Santa Cruz a lot. It's one of our favorite places to visit. We discovered this little gem last year and have since stayed a few times. However, this last time we stayed was by far the best!!! We were upgraded to a bigger room and on our first night, we were greeted with a...
