Where is ice machine?
Also tv wasn't hooked up to any working system.
Besides that. Best nights of sleep I've had. Ever. That bed is perfect and there was zero noise all night long . Mini fridge was super cold. We actually got some ice starting on our fruits . And I was like whoa. That's cool literally

I was booked in a 2bed smoking room online and apparently because the people who walked in were able to convince the clerk that they were entitled to the room that was reserved by myself. The Not so valuable price was my first concern. The time it took for my card to be charged was immediete. The booking confirmation printed up with that in hand I approached a 2nd rate looking place. The first thing you see is a way too low overhang that causes hesitation for any driver. The second thing you see is the front desk who knows how to do things backwards. At least he gave my room away fast. He was unapolagetic and a little smug. He then placed me in a room that was at the bottom of a stairwell with constant and noisy foot traffic all around. Multi colored pubic hairs combined with gum stains and a couple cigarrete burns were what awaited on the Inside. The beds were very squeaky and lumpy. The curtains were all messed up and the front door was about an inch off the ground. Also I had no choice but to leave my jet engine style wall unit blasting all night. Why you might ask. Because adjoining my room was a loud neighbor. The door seperating us was thin and flimsy and gave me a bad feel. All in all I think I kinda got ripped of really bad and was very dissapointed with all aspects of the place. Also there was a lot of litter in the hedges near the rooms. I don't like having to step over a used condom to get to the only soda machine in this vast excuse for a Hotel. I'ts even worse when it's still there more than a day later. The only good thing was that the soda machine didn't steal my money.

The pictures of the property are somewhat better than the real property. It's a formerly cheap motel that's been upgraded. So, the rooms are well appointed; the lobby is pretty nice, but don't expect it to be a Hilton.

The hotel location is very quiet. The hotel room was very clean. Excellent price to stay three night and two day. I would agree that this hotel has been very organize booking a hotel room. The hotel hours were very flexible to call, book, and early room service.

This is a fantastic extended stay Hotel for those who come to the Bay Area for work projects. It has great access to major freeways, great internet/WiFi connectivity, solid cable TV, numerous restaurants both fast food and regular (a Chili's right across the street e.g.) within a mile distance, grocery store down the street, and a nice sized fridge in room for food storage. Microwave and coffee maker is perfect.

It is in a safe area, the management is very responsive and professional, and the rooms are kept clean regularly at request. Bed is great, great pillows, bathroom is normal with plenty of hot water.

All in all, I highly recommend Hotel El Real for extended stay business travelers.

My stay was horrible – and I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my colleagues traveling for conferences. I booked this room based on the rating of 3 stars – as my employer was paying for my stay and I was trying to be economical. This is NOT a 3 star lodging, it maybe could rank 2 – on a good day.
There is NO ventilation in the rooms – no central air or heat, no fans; one tiny window in the bathroom looks like it can open, but wasn’t sure if it would be safe. There was a window (?) air conditioner that looked filthy, but even if I did want to run it, the controls were too high to reach. I had to buy a fan to be able to be comfortable.
The bed had 4 square small pillows – like the kind used on couches. The only blanket on the bed was a grey-yellow color; and felt rough to the touch. I slept with only a sheet as I wasn’t comfortable with the cleanliness of the blankets.
The rooms were dingy; the chair was worn with the material along back completely rubbed off
There was no ice machine – the one in the lobby didn’t work and had an “out of order” sign for the 4 days.
There are no amenities that require a deposit; and the stay had already been paid for. I’m not sure why the hotel needed to hold $100 and then let me know that it would take a week to 10 days to release and credit back my money.
The coffee maker in my room was broken. The ‘closet’ bar was spotted with rust, as were the hangers; I didn’t want to hang my clothes as I was concerned, they would become discolored.
The parking lot was very loud; and there seemed to be a lot of banging in the rooms. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe.
My room was not serviced or replenished for the entirety of my stay. I was out early and when I came back later in the evening I was tired and thought “they’ll come tomorrow and bring clean cups, towels and a new coffee machine” but they did not.
Had I been notified upon checking in or at reservation that – there was no air conditioning or fan and they did not service the rooms – I would have found another place to stay.

As stated by my title review, “The First Impression….” was the most important aspect of my stay.
Upon my arrival, I was greeted in a and courteous and sincere manner. The front desk person and I engaged in conversation that made feel welcomed. I mentioned that I was there for work, and he marketed his customer skills by ensuring me that if my stay in any way was unsatisfactory, please bring it to his attention. I proceeded to ask if he were the proprietor and much to my surprise, he said, “no!”
The rooms were clean and in order, and that was extremely important to me.
The professional attitude and overall demeanor towards me were a reflection of great leadership.
The latter previous and former were the foundation for a relaxing sojourn.

I really like this place. The rooms are in great shape. The hotel is newly renovated. It looks like they have wooden blinds on the windows, refrigerator and microwave in every room, clean bathrooms, clean and firm beds. And the prices are reasonable.
I found the pillows a little bit small I would preferred regular pillows. In the air conditioning/heating unit took a little getting used to.
They have great TV sets where you can get Netflix and Amazon transferring your account or watch via Xfinity.
There is a good Indian restaurant on premises that has decent food at good prices too.
I found the service to be excellent no complaints about management at all. They gave me a good room at the price I booked for.
The key card worked great and everything was perfect

Nice surprise to find such a value for such a modestly priced room. Was not expecting this level of quality. I am happy to write that room was clean, bed mattress firm and new. Bathroom clean. Everything, lights, tv, fridge, air/heating, hair dryer, microwave, etc. all in perfect working order. Did have a minor issue to bring attention to staff. However, staff took my concern seriously and immediately took action to resolve. They are responsive, pleasant and professional, here.

I am happy that I've stayed, and will gladly return the next time I need a room in this area.

Online it says it is dog friendly. But when u get there, it is not. As I was checking in, there was a man in office threatening to beat up clerk over his mom's deposit money. Carpet was super dirty. Room keys never work and always had to be let in by staff. Office staff was not very friendly. Im sure they are used to dealing with alot of low budget patrons. You get what u pay for here. This is the cheapest and dirtiest of em.
