Hotel's Favourite
My daughter and I stayed here during a team event in January. We were assigned a room on the 5th floor, away from the craziness of the elevator. This Embassy Suites is almost exactly like every other. However, there isn't the large atrium you are used to. However, keep in mind, that did not detract from our stay.
The breakfast in the morning was absolutely top notch. It was very well stocked, clean, and that made to order omelet/egg station is to die for. An excellent assortment of fruits, veggies, bread and cereal.
I felt the hotel was extremely comfortable and clean. We did have a crazy rain storm one night and a leak occurred in the lobby. The was ZERO fault of the hotel, but they were actively taking an approach to clean and repair it.
The pool was not used, but we did check it out. It was small, but useful for those small ones you bring with you. Towels are provided. No Hot tub or Sauna.
Evening reception. In my opinion you stay at an Embassy Suites for the evening reception and the breakfast. This one was MUCH better than any others. The gentlemen bartending knew what others don't: who cares about the punch card, ill keep pouring the free drinks if the tips keep coming. That's exactly what happened. Those amazing bartenders made a significant amount of money off of us because of their service.
The rooms were impeccable. This hotel was older, probably remodeled. However it was up to the Embassy Suites standards. I will stay here again.

This was our first time staying at Embassy Suites and had a wonderful time overall. Andrea at the front desk was very professional, kind, and accommodating. We were impressed with her ability to multitask efficiently while still making us feel welcome.
We got a regular double room and a pure king room. Definitely get a Pure room, the air and water is filtered and you can feel the difference. However, we felt the rooms could definitely improve on cleanliness. There was hair all over the showers, some shelves were very dusty, and we also found spilled coffee in the tile grout that made the floor sticky. I completed the survey and really hope this will be improved because the hotel was perfect otherwise.
The rooms are large. We appreciated that there was actually a room with a door rather than a divider. There are also two TV's if you like that sort of thing, a bar sink in the living room, microwave, and a mini fridge. They also have many USB and regular plug outlets which we found very helpful. We had a room across from the elevators and noise was never a problem. The ice dispenser was conveniently located in the center of the floor as well, so that was great.
Parking is $20, a deal for us, the lot is right at the front of the entrance and you don't have to walk far at all.
The breakfast was excellent. We especially liked their french toast which was thick. Their bacon is done crispy. And they chef that the made to order station is wonderful. He'll grill up whatever you want. I asked him if I should wait or come back in a few and he offered to bring it to my table. That was very nice, but I told him I'd come back to get it in a few minutes. He had it done and ready to eat. He serves everyone with a friendly smile too.
Check out was super simple. We dropped our keys at the front and headed out. Confused about how to get out of the lot, we pressed the call button and they let us out.
This was a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again.

Hi Michelle A, Sounds like you truly enjoyed your time with us, and yes you really cannot beat the PURE rooms. We were super excited to add them during our renovation in 2018 and we've had great feedback. Though you liked the spacious suite I'm sorry to hear it was not up to standards in regards to cleanliness. I will make sure to share your feedback with our Executive Housekeeper to ensure this isn't a re-occurring issue. Hope to see you again.

Stayed five nights for business and family. Overall, the staff was very polite, professional but also very absent minded.
The hotel itself was kept clean overall however you must maintain communication with the hotel staff if you wish to have your room cleaned daily. However for us, even following this rule, the message never seem to get across.
After learning the first night that we had to notify the front desk for room cleaning, we following the protocol daily by stopping at the front desk, watching them write our request on a sticky note. Out of the four other remaining days, our room was cleaned only once. And this was only after we complained the third night in a row.
Front desk was very apologetic and even offer Hilton honor points, but neither transpired.
I've stayed at multiple Embassy Suites and never seen such a communication breakdown between the front desk and house keeping.
Also understand, these rooms are two double beds or single king with a sofa bed. Although online says you can fit four adults in the room, you most definitely can't sleep them. Two double beds is not enough for four adults. The sofabed was horrible and was not scaled for two adults. Two adults or two adults and two kids is fine, but that would be it for these rooms.
Notables:
- Although three elevators, only two were functioning.
- Don't forget you are paying separate parking.
- The closest thing to 'normal' was the breakfast which offered hot cook to serve breakfast.

This hotel should be knocked down and rebuilt along with it’s staff. It’s very noisy at night and very difficult to sleep. I could hear everything my neighbours were saying, their kids, when they were in the bathroom and when they were watching TV on all sides of my bedroom and then I had the flyover noise on the other side through the non-sound proof windows and walls.
The windows also don’t shut properly and as a result the freeway noise was loud.
This hotel was clearly built with cheap materials without any thought for the customer experience.
The breakfast food was appalling. Horrible coffee. Terrible food. Minimal vegetarian options.
The toiletries were a joke. One small shampoo capsule and no shower gel and only soap for washing hands.
There was no water in the room.
I had to go and buy food/drinks and toiletries at the nearby Whole Foods as the hotel food and drinks made me ill.
Their fridge literally froze my drinks and food! You couldn’t turn it down.
The internet needs to be renewed every day on all devices which is also very annoying.
The gym is miniature. Several days at 5am there were already 3 people in and there are only 2 cycle machines.
There was no room service literature anywhere, probably just as well given the quality of the food (or rather lack of).
The bar finishes at 11pm!
They have no restaurant, every meal is in the bar which is old fashioned and horrible atmosphere.
I asked to leave a night early, gave a week’s notice and they said that they would charge me a cancellation fee even though it wasn’t prepaid and every other hotel allows canceling up to the night before. They claimed this was on their website but i couldn’t find it so it must be buried and it wasn’t there when I was booking.
They then tried to make up for it with a glass of red wine. Who would drink a glass of red wine left in their room?
At weekends they have millions of kids so don’t come here for a quiet weekend.
The staff were obnoxious and couldn’t care less. Doesn’t reflect very well on Hilton to have this shabby hotel under its banner.
Never ever come here.

We tried to order room service at 9:33pm but were told it ended at 9:30pm when the information in the room states open till 11pm. Explained this to the hotel front desk clerk and she stated it was open till 10pm and they should have taken your order unless no orders after 9:30 were accepted. I explained that is stipulated in the information shared with guest.

I am very disappointed with my stay. There are two reasons why I choose this hotel. One is the free breakfast and the other is the complimentary evening reception. The evening reception was always good but now it's a joke. They give you only 2 drinks, which can be draft beers or their house wine or liquor. The beers include Bud light and Budweiser and are served in a 10 oz mug; if you want one of the other beers on draft, they charge an extra $5. And the snacks consist of a bag of pretzels, chex mix or golf fish crackers. I can understand that the snacks are going to be limited due to Covid. However, only 2 drinks per person? Plus, don't get me started on their $20 a night for parking outside. Also, I paid for the premium room that includes snacks each day. I did not get these the first night and had to complain to have these sent to my room, which they said they would take care of. When I got back to the hotel, no snacks and I had to complain again until they finally brought these to my room. If this hotel is trying to lose business, they've accomplished this. I will not be coming back to this hotel. I stayed at an Embassy Suites in San Antonio, Texas a week ago and they don't have the restrictions of the 2 drink max and have at least one choice of a premium beer with no extra charge for the evening reception, So, I wonder if it's just this location. Regardless, I will not stay here again.

Most Embassy Suites tend to be similar and this location is no exception except that it may be a bit smaller than most locations. The lobby bar/breakfast/evening reception area is not that large but it was not too crowded, at least at breakfast.
The room itself was fine, the bathroom had been recently upgraded but the rest of the room has not been refreshed and reflects a 2010 vibe. A bit of quality control is also needed as the one lamp in the living room had a damaged lampshade and was very unpleasant to have on as the bulbs stuck out of the top. The clock radio in the room did not work and it was one of those ridiculous ones where you cannot reset the time so that it reflects reality. Parking is a bit odd and is an extra cost which seems odd given the location.

Embassy suites was ideally located and allowed for easy access to highways. Buffet breakfast and made to order omelettes where absolutely delicious. A one bedroom suite was perfect for three of us, and we were able to request cleaning services as needed. Located nearby was Santa Clara Square, which had plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.

Stayed here for a week. Had breakfast option which is mostly usual diy stuff but with a fresh made to order option with a chef cooking right in front of you, which was great. Room did not have the usual stale smell in many hotels that have not seen traffic for a year. Staff were excellent and eager to help. Location is right off 101. I’ll be choosing this place for future business trips.

A nice stay, but disappointing for an Embassy Suites. We stay at Embassy Suites as often as possible because I just don’t think other hotels can get anywhere close to the same experience for the value.
The lobby at this hotel was nice, but did not include the typical central atrium like you find at almost every other Embassy Suites. The rooms were also much smaller than we’re used to.
My impression is that this hotel has been converted to an Embassy Suites after being originally built as something else.
Still a nice stay overall.

Hi Jacob, You are indeed correct. We were built as another hotel brand, but then opened as an Embassy Suites in 1985. And it looks like as more of us undergo renovations, the atrium is not something that will be carried into future models. One of the great things about our hotel not having an atrium is a reduction in noise and having a much smaller carbon footprint, which is important to Hilton. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.

Hello there and thanks for your inquiry. We do not currently have a slumber party package. However we do have a variety of offers available on our website, maybe one will fit your needs. Thanks!
Hey Alan W. As everyone has very nicely confirmed, our suites do have a private back bedroom which is separated by a door to the living area. However we do have a handful of studio rooms- those do not have a living area. Thanks!
