Detailed Reviews
The property is on a major bus route. Two dollars gets you from the motel to the Caltrain station, and then the shuttle bus to the airport is free.
My savings on this updated property over a newly built one were in the range of 20-50%. It did show some of the wear and tear of its age; but, per my observation, the owners are committed to ongoing upgrades. In other words, it’s only going to get better.
Housekeeping/cleanliness was excellent, and my need for an early check in was granted without question by a very pleasant staff member.
If you’re staying for several days, you have a microwave, hot plate, and even a few utensils provided for preparing meals - if you wish to do so. I think there was also a mini-fridge.
The fan in the bathroom was initially annoying loud, but that subsided after a while.
A good place to know about if you’re visiting the San Jose area. Even San Francisco is only an hour and a half Caltrain ride away

The hotel is clean, well situated and the staff are nice - however, if you have a room near/over the front desk, the front door slams so loudly each time anyone comes in or leaves that it wakes you up and makes you jump every time. Forget sleeping through the slamming. Also, the floor of the area where they serve the continental breakfast (which is not worth the calories) is tiled. From my room every scrape of a chair on the floor was a wake up call. Be sure to request a room away from these two places (front desk and breakfasting) and you will be fine.

Room was for business. Check in was fast and efficient, room was clean with ample room. Quiet neighbors and neighborhood. Pollo Loco next door for chicken was a bonus. Chick-fil-A also nearby as well as mom and pop taquerias. Room had hot plate, microwave and large refrigerator for longer stays along with clean cookware,
plates, utensils and such.

I've had the pleasure of spending some time here on multiple occasions. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. One often overlooked quality in today's budget rooms is that these rooms actually have carpet! When on a long trip it's the little things that stand out. When I stay here for business, I typically have the same room for a week or two, and can appreciate their service policy of only cleaning twice a week. I don't need daily turnovers, but maybe thet could supply three days of towels instead of just two. Also, the El Pollo Loco next door is a great place for a hot meal. All things considered, the Granada is my go-to hideaway home away from home when one or two nights isn't enough.

They kicked me out of my room because I had two guests instead of one and refused me a refund. Then they charged another $100 to my card making it impossible for me to acquire another room that night. And this was on Christmas Eve! I complained about them to the Better Business Bureau and they created a false document with my signature transferred from the actual document I signd that had me agreeing to conditions of which I was never aware. The staff is truly evil here. STAY AWAY!

So I booked at the Granada Inn for the firts time the first week of August because of the short ride to my project.
I was finally able to sleep comfortably.
I liked that the entrance doors are locked if you get to the hotel late and your room key is the access. This is very good option for female travelers.
The room was very clean and bed is great. Bathroom is sanitized and towels are clean as well.
My room had a small fridge, sink and microwave, so a plus to me.
I did not used ir, but they serve breakfast at the hotel.
Already booked for the next 2 weeks!

I am homeless, orphaned, no place to go, recommendation from Charity Organizations and Federal Government and they disobeyed Federal Law and kicked me out for burning incense. They kept putting me in rooms that did not meet Legal Criteria, being a "slum-lord" and still kicked me out, I have been homeless for about 5 months now. They moved me out several times and robbed me for electronic devices.
