Trust me, I've lived here long enough to know there are way more better places for the money and at the Carlye they treat you like a prisoner. The Staff is comprised of racist Bigots who leave irritating parking tickets on your car, then they threaten you with police and towing if you don't play but their messed up nazi-like rules. The staff is the biggest idiot's i've ever met. Totally discriminates against 420 and also People of Ethnicity. Horrible place to live and the Rent is a rip off. JUNK HORRIBLE!
The community has a fitness center, a swimming pool (of dubious hygiene) and secure access. The apartment facilities include Comcast cable TV, wireless internet (free for us), washing machine inside the apartment, dishwasher and full kitchen. Parking and secure mailbox is also available. We found the design of the apartments a little wonky, with crooked walls that make the rooms look smaller than they are. It is quite OK for a solo business traveller but not those traveling with spouse or kids.
From a personal viewpoint, for less than 3 months, a Residence Inn, Townesuite or Extended Stay hotel may be a better option at almost the same price ($90 a night, plus taxes). The lack of housekeeping facility means you either hire maid services at $100/month (weekly) or sleep in a crumpled bed (ugh!). For a 4-6 week trip, I can do without having to take out my own trash! Some long-stay hotels also offer breakfast which is more attractive to solo travelers than a full kitchen.
Overall, a good place to stay if you want a "home" away from home. Those who prefer to let some one else cook their breakfast and take out the trash will be happier in a 'normal' hotel.
