I needed a hotel in Santa Clara and this was a perfect location. I like that the entrance is behind the building and away from traffic.
The room was clean. AC and heater were excellent. Useful amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig. I also liked that this room had a 2-seater couch.
There are two water fountain options. On in the gym and one in the lobby. Love that.
The front desk staff let me store my luggage when I arrived.
This hotel is currently undergoing renovations as listed on their website, and there is noise during business hours as expected, but that did not bother me because by the time I was in my room, they were gone for the day, and I checked out before they began.

The hotel is overall nicely located and clean; the rooms are reasonably spacious with routine facilities. The staff at reception counter were average and less than pleasant. The breakfast area was minimal and choices very limited for the kind of money they charged.

We liked the hotel before we even got there because they were accommodating of our request to check in a few hours early. Having arrived in SFO on a very early morning flight from NYC, it was a relief to be able to nap.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet considering it was on a busy main street. It is located near shopping plazas with sidewalks available for walking to them. There was a great Indian restaurant - Kebab and Curry - a block away.
Parking was plentiful and tucked away off the street.
Overall I highly recommend if you looking for an affordable hotel in this neighborhood. We will stay here again next time we are visiting our friends in the area.

The hotel has the thinnest walls I’ve experienced at a hotel and I’ve stayed at many. You can hear every foot step, door shutting and people talking outside your room. It’s fairly clean but had a sour smell coming from the bath room. Breakfast was typical for continental and it’s close to Levi’s Stadium which is why we selected it.

Don’t stay here unless you have no other options. We stayed here for 6 nights in February and the tv was out half of those nights which was frustrating because it was during the Winter Olympics. Additionally, the entry door on our floor nearest the elevator was out of order but we weren’t informed so we rode all the way up only to have to all the way back down where we found the uninterested and incompetent front desk person who said it was out of order so we would have to walk to the other side of the hotel to go up and get to our room and maybe the manager would find someone to fix it. I’m handicapped and my husband has mobility issues also. When we checked out I brought up the issues and was asked if I had asked for another room, I said no because I didn’t think that would fix things and would be a hassle. Just don’t stay here, we won’t.

Loved the location, close to airport. The rooms are very modern and clean. The dining area was closed but breakfast was still provided to take and warm up in room. Nice people at the front desk. Had a slight problem with TV but was able to fix and not have to call for help. Many fast food and shopping places close by also.

I have stayed at numerous Holiday Inn properties over the years, and most of been your average stay, nothing worthy of noting. But I have to say that this Holiday Inn Express is one of the nicest I have ever been to! The rooms are exceptionally clean, you have your choice of several types of bed pillows, the furniture is stylish and you even get a goody bag filled with bottled water, snacks and fruit. This hotel seems to go above and beyond what is expected, even a personalized note is left in your room thanking you for your visit. I highly recommend this hotel!

My Santa Clara U son had tendon surgery from Flag Football. Last year he had kidney stones! This Minnesota Mom flew in both times and brought him here to recover! It's VERY clean, has comfy beds, a great little breakfast, a washer & dryer, a business center & is a great location! Even with all that, it is the staff that is truly EXCEPTIONAL and make it a 5-Star hotel! It's perfect!
