This is a small but cosy hotel right next to the wharf and marina. Quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Super comfy bed, clean room and big bathroom. Good muffins for breakfast but that's it. Really nice front desk staff. All in all a great place to stay.

Didn't know what to expect based on price but this property is clean, comfortable and has surprisingly nice room amenities and upgrades. Bathroom was especially nice. As for location - it is PERFECT. Across the street from the beach, 2 blocks from the Pier and State Street, close to anything you would want to do in that part of town....

We stopped for a night at the Castillo Inn while touring the Central Coast. The rooms are nicely appointed and the beds are very comfortable. It is lovely to stay along the waterfront in Santa Barbara due to the beauty of the coastline and the marina + the Castillo is convenient to the PCH, which makes getting to and from...

We like space, so we got the 2 bedroom suite. What a great decision! It was a small apartment with a kitchen and living room. The suite was very clean and comfortable. Parking was conveniently located in front of the rooms. The Marina and Beach are only a short walk away. Great restaurants nearby.

I had selected Castillo Inn after reading a couple of reviews, so I thought it would be on OK place to be in Santa Barbara, so we were delighted to come upon this quaint, comfortable, easy access, one story, architecturally pleasing Inn. The room matched the exterior-- pleasant and comfortable, well equipped, and a feeling of home away from home....

My mom and I were very much looking forward to stay here. It would have been the first time for my mom to visit Santa Barbara. Due to a big storm that hit Northern California, we heard that our train was delayed by a lot. When I called to hotel to notify them of our late arrival, I was bluntly...

We stayed here for 1 night. The Inn is about a 5 min walk to the beach and about 10 mins from the marina which houses loads of cafes, bars and restaurants. Approx 15-20 mins walk into the main street, which also has lots of places to eat, shopping and nightlife. The Inn rooms are a nice size and decor...

Stayed here five nights and it was very good. Clean, well maintained, comfortable bed. We didn't use the breakfast, parking was tight, and maid service was prompt. Santa Barbara killed the VRBO business and the Castillo is a good option. We would return.

Wow! We loved our one night stay here. We checked in at 5ish and walked down along the wharf and went to eat at a restaurant there. Our room was clean and perfect! Parking was no problem and Andy brought me a nice pastry from the breakfast area before we had to leave very early in the morning for the...

I was very happy when I checked in. However, the next afternoon I decided to relax and read a book in the late afternoon. There was a lot of workers in the parking lot and as I was relaxing, someone looked in my window, then used a key card and tried to open the door. Fortunately I had the latch...
