I enjoyed my stay at Lemon Tree and would stay again. As other travelers have noted it is a budget motel style of place but I would put it above a Motel 6 and disagree with those reviews. I had a ground floor room with the entry from the parking lot and a large patio overlooking a beautiful courtyard. In...

When we arrived, we were given a fairly nice room that was clean and looked recently updated. But the room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning products. Even after an hour of having the patio door open on a windy day, the smell was still obnoxious, so we asked to move. The guy who helped me was very nice, but...

Only stayed one night traveling through on the ocean road, room could have been cleaner with dust here and there. The rooms could do with refurbiing and are a little dated, shower something out of the 70's but comfortable enough for a stopover. Started early on our journey the next day ( around 7.30 ) and the restaurant wasn't open...

The rooms were comfortable and quite, the staff at the reception was very friendly. The bathroom needs an update, but it was OK and clean. The garden area (in the centre of the motel) is very nice! The room was close by the parking lot. Check in and out was very easy. The motel is not very luxuries but good...

This was the first stop on our California road trip. There are some negative reviews but of the Lemon Tree and we think they are unfair. Firstly it is important to remember this is an Inn not a Hotel. The staff were lovely, the rooms were spacious and clean. The wifi was free and worked perfectly. We had a room...

Best motel ever. Nicely renovated, modern and large rooms, really big bathrooms. One of the bathrooms even had a removable shower, which is very rarely in the US. Nice garden with pool. The only downside is the location. You need a car to get to the lively part of State Street and there are lots of other motels and BnB's...

We stayed here for 1 night, while travelling from San Francisco to LA. The hotel is located a little drive from the centre. The room was nice, clean and a good size with a view of the pool and a lovely smell of lemons when sat on the balcony. The bathroom was adequate for our stay.

We stayed here for two nights and it was just great. Located on state street which is the main road, it is close to everything via car. The food is lovely and the staff are very friendly The grounds are kept pristine and the rooms are very tidy. It was a very pleasant stay and I am surprised it is...

From the outside it looked dated, and probably is, but the grounds that all rooms open up to are just so pleasant and pretty. Mature trees, flowers, plants etc surround the pool and spa. The building is a bit old, but the rooms are comfortably equipped.

This is a quaint place to stay. Feels very Santa Barbarish. The location is very convenient to all the touristy places in town. The pool is relaxing as well. The rooms are a little older and could use some refreshing. Also no refrigerator in the room as well. I may be an easy grader but its between average and very...
