This was the first stopover on our 15 day California road trip. The reception and check in was easy, fast and efficient and we were soon in our room after a long trip. The room had a small balcony overlooking the pool and was an ideal place to sit and chill. The provision of bottled water, fruit and sweets was...

We stayed here 1 night, decent hotel. We had a car, so we drove to the pier. But it would take 1 hour to walk. So if you do not have a car, try to stay in a closer hotel (to the beach) We did not use the swimming pool, only problem we had, was the AC outside was very...

I have to fly out to Santa Barbara once a year for work. I always stay at the Best Western Peppertree because they are friendly, accommodating and it is walkable to my meeting, shopping and plenty of restaurants.

If your kids are pool lovers, this is the place to stay! Spacious, comfortable rooms true to images on website. On-site restaurant & good menu when the kids don't want out of the pool! Pool and grass landscape perfect for children to enjoy. Property is small drive to main attractions in Santa Barbara. However their prices @ $200 beat all...

This is a lovely place stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Balcony overlooked the pool which was also lovely and very quiet. Food was lovely we ate in the restaurant at night and staff were lovely and helpful. Parking is free here too. Beds are quite small though and the A/C a little noisy. We got the bus...

My partner and I enjoyed four nights at this hotel, getting a wedding party discount. Although the decor is a little dated, the beds are extremely comfortable and have the softest, finest sheets I have ever experienced. Due to the drought the area is experiencing, we tried to reuse most of our towels and kept the same sheets, as suggested...

Having planned to have an evening of wine tasting tours we were surprised to find you had to drive into town. The rooms were dated and the bathroom too small; however they were fine for an overnight stop. All the staff were very friendly. Main problem for us was the location.

rsrj, there are many lodging options in Santa Barbara; the closer you are to the beach the higher the rates. The Pepper Tree is a short drive to all of the exciting area attractions while offering guests a great value. I hope you enjoyed your evening of wine tasting. The Urban Wine Trail certainly provides a wonderful venue to do...

We were looking for an affordable hotel in Santa Barbara for one night. It is not near the beach but very close to the mission. It is very cute and clean. There are two pool areas, one much smaller than the other. Our family of four was a little cramped in our room. We enjoyed having breakfast out by the...

My wife, two small children and I stayed at this hotel for two nights earlier this month. The room was fine. It was certainly clean but it was also certainly small and dated. There were two double beds in the room. You can also get a sleeping pad which is like a thin mattress for the floor. They say they...

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times now and the staff is always very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and roomy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like the use of a pool. Pets are allowed in an area of hotel also. Good job Best Western Pepper Tree!
