As other recent reviews mentioned, the property may be listed as Hyatt with a pool but you have to walk two blocks in your suit to get to the main building. We walked around a while before having to ask how to get to the pool area. The room was very clean and neat but the price was not right!... More

Being a remote site for this sprawling Hyatt property, this is the red-headed step child of the bunch. It has no front desk and therefore nobody to mind this otherwise very nice property. Our room #143 was also particularly bad (avoid it at all costs) as it is nearest to the front gate (which slams loudly each time it closes)... More

Everything was quite clean, and balcony was not bad even though it only gives you a small park view. It's a bit cheaper than the main Hyatt Santa Barbara buildings, but you can use every facility in the main buildings at the same time. Parking was somewhat tricky cos parking lot was tiny. When you ask for any room service,... More

We recently stayed in the Santa Barbara House. While this part of the Hyatt Santa Barbara it is NOT on the hotel's main property. It is a standalone building about a block and a half from the main property. The rooms, while the front desk, states that they were recently "refurbished" were not of the same quality we expect from... More

When we booked the hotel, we chose the "Santa Barbara house"-room option, as we were only going to stay one night. Stay away from this if your booking. The building looks like a old dirty motel, and you have no views, and the railroad tracks and highway close by. The only good thing is that the parking is free at... More

Overall we had a pretty negative experience with this hotel. We checked into the Hyatt (where you need to check in for the SB House). Well, it was utter chaos in the lobby. When we finally got to the front of the line, I gave the woman my name and she asked if maybe my reservation was under another name...this... More

We spent one evening on our way up the coast. The staff couldn't be more friendly, and the hotel is easy to find, and only a couple of blocks easy walk from the beach. This small motel has been renovated, and although they did it inexpensively, it is clean, tidy and inviting. But they left the window box air conditioners... More

The Customer service was great, very friendly, helpful. Hotel room was super nice, tide and clean. Close to the beach and attractive area. Definitely will come back to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended.

We were moving our son into school and did not make reservations on time so no desirable places were left in Goleta. Found this hotel not realizing it was part of the Hyatt. We were very happy with this find. The room was clean and the balcony we had was nice. We faced a park which was also nice and... More

Horrible. how can Hyatt allow that this is a hotel under their brand. Train track, Freeway, parking lot view. All bad. But the building itself? Like a motel from the fifties. I think one can expect more for three hundred dollars. Never ever again.
