You can tell that this is the only hostel in Santa Barbara... It is a house that has been turned into a hostel and is not fit for purpose. Showers broken, firstly bathrooms, had to go through someone's dorm to get to ours (!), near a noisy road and the guy who checked us in was rude and unhelpful. Would...

This hostel is very unclean and out-dated. It is in urgent need of rennovation- from the dirty carpets to the uncomfortable beds and to get rid of the general pong about the place.. I have stayed at many hostels and this was the worst value for money I have ever come across. 'Daylight robbery' springs to mind. Also were charged...

Been here for 3 days, the staff is really friendly and wiling to help you out. Their deck is a nice place to get a beer and relax, not too far from the main street, 15-20 min walk and a 10min walk to the beach. Everybody that was staying at the hostel were pretty friendly and all of the girls...

This is a quite small hostel, the manager is awesome! He's very helpful and happy to tell you everything he knows about Santa Barbara.. We booked two beds in a dorm but as we got there the hostel wasn't fully booked so we got a private room instead. The common area feels like a living room at home, very nice!...

I had such a great time here! Management was FANTASTIC and did a really great job making the atmosphere as social as possible. The rooms are just fine for hostel standards if not a little better because they're smaller than average so you get a little extra privacy. The place used to be a house and feels very cozy but...

This hostel is a great price for the town, and from the experience of my stay attracts a young and international crowd. It is basic, but clean, reflecting the low price, and very laid back. You can expect to get to know the staff well, as they are so friendly and they go beyond to help you out - when...

The staff was very friendly and there was a comfortable atmosphere. Furniture was basic but new. The terrace was great. Considering it was the cheapest place in town I was very happy with my stay here.

The price of hotels were so expensive in Santa ~Barbara so I thought I would take a chance on a hostel. The manager was fantastic. A really interesting and helpful man. The room was barely adequate. I was travelling with 2 teenage sons and even with 2 double bunks, one of them chose to sleep on the floor for 2...

It says that cleanliness and safety are at the highest standard - absolutely not. It was so dirty!! The first room we booked, a private double, was made up of a single bed and a single bunk bed. All the beds sagged in the middle and we were required to make our own beds. In the process of making the...

Strict and unwavering cancellation policy. I paid to make a reservation on the same day, and other plans came up. I still had to pay a full night's stay. I expressed my misunderstanding of the policy but was met with relative coldness. It's also quite expensive for a hostel. I don't have much else to say about it. The weather...
