The perfect location from Butterfly Beach to downtown Santa Barbara! Always a warm and friendly vibe. The lovely rooms, helpful staff & cozy ambience make the Montecito Inn our top choice when booking a stay to Santa Barbara.

The staff was super friendly and had a pleasant stay. The room itself could use an update, shower didn't work super well either. I was expecting the inn to have a more charming old timey feel but overall a nice spot.

A great location, clean, kid friendly. Would definitely stay again. Restaurant is closed and under renovation but other options close and great selection. We stayed with young children and it worked out well with a king and full bed in one large room.

Excellent location. Many restaurant choices in walking distance from hotel. Closeness to the ocean, walking and biking trails. Easy freeway access. Minutes to downtown Santa Barbara and the harbor and wharf.

We always come up for a short visit during the holidays, on our way into Santa Barbara, and it's always a great stay. Rooms are small, but spotless (other hotels should do as well), and the location is perfect for visiting lower Montecito. Just hope the bar and restaurant re-open soon, as it felt kind of empty this year.

It was a Christmas get away to relax and just walk around the beach. We have been checking this hotel on Expedia every time we wanted to get away and finally a week before Christmas the price went down and we were able to book it right away. We were very happy and loved it. Have been recommending it to...

The property was beautiful and the staff was friendly from beginning to end. My husband and I stayed in room 302. It was nice with a great view of stores and the mountains. Most stores and restaurants in the area were closed on Christmas Day, so we had to drive to downtown Santa Barbara. That was nice as well. The...

Loved the location of this hotel. Quick access to hwy 101 and to great eats in the area. The beds were cozy as can be. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely rebook at this location!

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is cramped. Only one accessible outlet in room which didn't hold my charger so I had to unplug the bedside lamp to charge my phone. The orange juice downstairs was very good

Very dated property. It smelled like smoke and needed to be sprayed. Fireplace was fake not gas completely fake... Very tacky. The only good thing was the bed was very comfortable and the service was very good.

Hello Mmmax1976, While we do have very comfortable beds (guests always inquire about how they can buy one for their home), and we do provide excellent customer service, I don't believe this review was intended for the Montecito Inn as 1) all of our rooms are non-smoking (and we do not have any notes on your reservation of a complaint...
