We loved our stay! The room was very comfortable and a lovely bottle of champagne was waiting for us in our room upon our arrival (honeymooners:)) Great breakfast, loved the Oreos, very central. Great place.

The little things that this hotel offers really helps to create a wonderful visit, such as offering afternoon snacks, wine, and Oreo cookies with milk before bedtime. A quaint and well-kept facility with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. I highly recommend!

Recalling a lovely weekend stay at a standard room in the main house of the Upham, we recently returned. This time we were booked in at the nearby Country House which is a gracious old home with sizable common rooms and guest rooms full of old millwork, large staircase, rear breakfast balcony and tiny garden. Music plays softly in the...

Comfortable elegance. I needed a get away that would allow me to 'practice the art of doing nothing". I knew that we were in the right place where several people were relaxing in the garden by taking a nap or reading a book. Do not stay here is you require high energy. The service and amenities are well thought out....

The hotel is a charming victorian bandb in excellent location. Rooms are cozy but nice and the common areas are very pretty. Unfortunately the quality of wine and cheese and breakfast is mediocre at best. The "cheese" was an orange glob that does bot deserve to be called cheese. At breakfast everything was cheap and mediocre: pastries from ralph's, jam...

This is my favorite place to stay in SB. Everything is done right from the morning breakfast to the cozy cabins. Charming throughout. Have not dined in the restaurant but it looks lovely as well. So many options for great food in walking distance.

Stayed for just one night a couple of weeks ago. Upon arrival, we wished we were staying longer. With this in mind, we would definitely go back if we were ever in the area again. The room we had was beautiful - large, clean and overlooking the pretty garden area. I thought the little extra touches like the wine and...

My family of four stayed in the 2 bedroom suite earlier this month and it was quite nice! Bedrooms were separated by a sitting area (couch, 2 chairs and a desk) and also an additional half bath. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well-furnished. Hotel grounds were beautiful, and the wine/cheese, oreos/milk and morning breakfast were all a nice touch. My...

An unexpected stay, thanks to a recommendation. What a lovely gem of an Inn. Too bad we could only stay for one night. Welcoming, relaxed and inviting common spaces, both inside and out Our small, light-filled room aided by high ceiling and large mirror. Dinner in-house was delicious. Staff was friendly and eager. Kudos on both the complimentary wines &...
