We stayed at the hotel for four nights & then moved to their B&B down the street for two nights. Both properties were lovely. The Hotel served a pleasant breakfast of cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, bread, muffins, hard boiled eggs & a selection of cheeses. The room, with two queen size beds, was a really good size, comfortable & clean. We...

Located in downtown a couple of blocks from State Street and the historic Arlington Theatre, a beautiful, charming property with 50 rooms available divided between the main house and separate cottages. Arriving in the lobby we felt right at home as we were met by Emily who assisted us in checking into our cottage. Our room was clean and well...

If you enjoy small, boutique, hotels, this is a must stay. Over 125 years old, this former residence is truly a gem. Every room is different. The restaurant is outstanding. Easy free parking. Easy access to downtown and the beach.

Sadly, the weekend we were there we were personally responsible for ending the drought, however the Upham Hotel and the Country House were lovely. We had a reservation at the Upham and decided to arrive a day early. The front office staff, Daniel in particular, were the best at making our arrangements. We stayed at the Country House the first...

A pleasant hotel with nice B & B touches such as a pleasant continental breakfast + in the morning and wine & cheese etc. in the late afternoon/evening. The rooms are mostly different and we enjoyed our sizable king room with fireplace. The hotel is by no means ostentatious but the country home charm is evident in and out. We...

Wow! What a lovely place ! We met our Inlaws here for a weekend trip . On first look, it looks like a Bed n Breakfast . The house itself reminds me of something from Gone with the wind . Large wrap around porch , large sprawling 2 story house . When we opened the door we were greeted with...

We stayed here over New Year's Eve weekend and the hotel was lovely. The lobby was still decorated for Christmas which was beautiful and there was a fire in the fire place. It was very cozy and inviting. The staff was nice though we had little interaction. There was coffee and tea available all day in the lobby. A nice...

It's a bed-and-breakfast nice continental breakfast in the morning the danishes were stale but they had eggs fruit juices coffee. They are building surrounding the Main check in area. We were in the Lincoln building which is on a main street so you do get noise. Far to walk to most of the things on State Street so we had...

I stayed at The Upham for two nights during the business portion of my trip to Santa Barbara. Quaint accurately describes this property. The front desk staff were very pleasant and the ambiance was very homey. The room I stayed in was very comfortable. The only negative really was that the heater was a little loud (but this was the...

Just a really sweet hotel in the center of town. I have absolutely no complaints except it could've used a hot tub. It's an older place but well maintained w lots of charm. The little touches like the complimentary food and drink are so great! The staff and managers are there to make sure your happy and satisfied and they...
