We stayed at the San Simeon Lodge in late February 2015. My best friend and I were on a mini road trip. The rooms were very clean, the lobby area perfect and the bar/restaurant were very nice.. Juan is a great bartender. On Friday and Saturday Elvis hosts Karoake.. Fun Fun Fun!! The patio pool area was very nice, water...

While the room itself was very clean, and had a good view to the distant Sea, it was let down by the fact that the Wi-Fi did not work at all during our stay, and despite having a bath which attracted us was not usable because there was no plug. This they were unable to provide

Been here first time 2009 - it was out-dated but still clean and adequate. In 2014 I came here again with spoiled friend which I prepared him come with low expectation. We arrived at evening time, entered the room and WOW (!!!) It was really nice and modern! What bring me to the other benefit of the motel is the...

Well this hotel is really dated. Has an old wall heater but it did keep us warm. For the price I can't really complain much the room was clean and we did have a view of the ocean. It is not the place to go for a romantic getaway. We went to the Hearst Castle so it was real close...

This was an inexpensive place to crash for the night. We had a comfortable stay. The room was overall clean, but could have used a little extra attention in more easily overlooked areas, e.g. it was dusty around the baseboards. Not a big deal. The important stuff was spotless. The provided toiletries are very nice. We were driving Highway 1...

Well… The title of my review says it all as it truly is my home away from home. I'm a local artist and Cambria and I work about five days a week over here coming in from Hanford California. At first over a year ago, I was staying at a nearby spot. But, The San Simeon Lodge is way better...

Read the reviews and expected something older and not the "Ritz". For the most part it was a quite litle motel/inn that meets most of the basic needs. Clean, cheap with good service, but there were some issues. Pros: On the central coast close to lots of great stuff. Cheap, $60 a night all in for the weekend. Nice and...

The location was great. Price nice. I didn't expect anything fancy in the rooms, but a bed that didn't result in a backache would have been good. Even the teenagers with me woke up hurting. Staff was friendly. Restaurant on site was nice as there's not a lot near by. But I thought the food was okay, but expensive for...

Stayed at the San Simeon Lodge for 2 nights and 3 days for a visit to Hearst Castle and other sites. The lodge is more economically prices than lodgings in Cambria, Morro Bay or even the Best Western across the street. The rooms are old but clean, however, walls are paper thin so you can hear people in rooms next...

Hotel room okay could do with a upgrade of decor, restaurant next to hotel prices very high as only place near by only other restaurant is across the highway. Good place to stay in if visiting Hearst Castle
