This is a good hotel with a decent location. Beds are exceptionally good and rooms are stylish furnished. They are however very small and the light rail outside the hotel is noisy (and I had a room on high floora). Restaurant is good.

Dear Bygdagut, Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad that you liked our location and the beds. I have a Westin Heavenly bed at home and I agree that they are exceptional! I apologize that the rooms were on the smaller side. As a historic hotel, our rooms are slightly smaller than some of the newer properties. The...

The customer service was amazing and no matter the request they fulfilled every need. I had a very large group of guest stay at the Westin and not one person had anything bad to say. The location is prime, in walking distance from restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend the Westin to anyone!

Dear Carly, I am so excited to hear that our staff took such great care of you! I know my team loves hearing feedback, good and bad, and they will be ecstatic to hear that you and your group had such a great stay! Plus, you can't beat being in downtown! We are so glad you and your group stayed...

The one thing I love most about the Westin is the Heavenly bed. Restful sleep. The hotel is old but with a nice upkeep. Check in and check out was a breeze. I'm an SPG gold member so got upgraded to a King studio. Location is very convenient in downtown San Jose. Because of that, it's a bit noisy (e.g....

Dear cesmunch, Thank you so much for your feedback! It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay! I also love our Westin Heavenly bed, so much so that I have one at home! It's nice to see that you liked our location (can't beat being in the middle of downtown!) and that your check in and check out was...

This hotel was clearly an old office building or old hotel right in downtown San Jose and exuded charm of days gone by. It has been updated to look old, but is very stylish. The Italian restaurant Il Fornaio is located in the lobby and serves the hotel guests for room service as well. Our breakfast was delicious although it...

Customer service was average. Coffee stir stick in the room had obviously been used already. Very nice shower with waterfall shower head. The building is historic, but has modern amenities. However, the one working elevator lurches and feels unsafe. The biggest negative is the amount of noise. We were on the 6th floor and could easily hear traffic and people...

Dear kjmomsub, Thank you so much for your review. I am glad that you enjoyed our showers and our historic hotel! I apologize for the issues you experienced with our elevator and the noise in the hotel. We are currently working to modernize our elevators and they now run smoothly. I am sorry that the noise prevented you from having...

We booked two rooms, each with two doubles for two nights. The rooms are nicely decorated but are small. The beds are dressed with lovely linen. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and was also small. The white tea and aloe toiletries are lovely. Our room was on the third floor and we could hear lots of traffic...

Stayed here for a night. The service was good but the rooms seem tired and dated. One of the elevators wasn't working when we stayed which meant long waits with the buggy which was not convenient. Service across the board was great though and the restaurant is fantastic as well.

The Westin San Jose has a vintage charm and ideal location right in the heart of the City. The front desk and Valet service was exceptionally helpful and friendly I love the valet services that allow you to text for your car like this hotel and the San Jose Marriott across the street. The room was smallish but that comes...

The good thing of the hotel is, that it is directly in the city center. You can reach various restaurants and bars without driving. The executive loung is ok. The breakfast is very good but the dinner is just ok. Most of the time the food was empty or just some small rest remaining. The lounge is definitely to small...
